Waking up the following morning Scott stretched out and rubbed his eyes, had he dreamt all the events that had happened yesterday? Looking at his clock he saw it was 5.30am, he grabbed his phone and checked for any messages and found one from Amanda “I’m Okay my mum is stopping with me tonight, I love you” he smiled to himself but also felt a pang of worry coarse through his body.  After what had happened with Archangel Michael and the demon yesterday he had found that he didn't want to let Amanda out of his sight at all.  He couldn't shake off this fear he had within him, even though he knew that the Angels were on their side, he also knew that they had a battle ahead of them, how the hell were they supposed to carry on as normal.

Hearing a small tap at the door Scott jumped and turned his bedside lamp on "Come in" he said in a low whisper as his mother entered the room and gave him a smile "Morning, I just wanted to see how you were doing" she sat beside him on the bed and cupped his face in her hands, examining her son with an inquisitive expression on her face "I'm fine mom, I swear it's just a lot to take in" she nodded and gave his hand a squeeze "You know I'm so proud of you and your brother, you have turned into strong young men and I'm proud of how both of you are handling things" almost on cue Brendan walked into the room and joined them on the bed, he looked exhausted like he hadn't slept at all, their mother took Brendan's hand with her other and smiled at him "What's going on?" Brendan asked through a yawn "I was just telling your brother how proud I am of you both and the way you look after those lovely girlfriends of yours, you both make me so happy" Scott smiled and Brendan gave a slight groan "Mom don't embarrass me" he laughed and turned a little red, Brendan never was good at taking a compliment.  Turning back to his mum Scott had a lot of questions he needed to ask but he wasn't sure that now was the time "What is it Scott?" she always knew when sometime was on his mind "I don't know I just I guess I am confused by it all, demons....angels....protecting Amanda, I don't know is this all real? Our lives before Grandville were so simple and so normal, I don't regret coming here for one second I mean I have Amanda and she is my reason for, well for everything but was this all planned mom? Coming to Grandville was it really about Dad's job or was it something we had to do?" Lucy Evans gave a little sigh before she spoke "I know you boys have questions, lots of them and that's fine but all I can say for now is that everything that has happened to this point was pre destined, we had to move to Grandville for your fathers work BUT at the same time I do believe that it was meant to be and that we were guided here for the next stage to begin.  I know that you must be scared and unsure about how to proceed now, trust me I know how it feels and I'll explain more later but all I can say for now is that you are all protected, not just by the Angels and that you will win this fight, just promise me that you will all stick together, promise me that" both Scott and Brendan nodded and there was an unspoken bond at that moment in the room between mother and sons.

Half an hour later Scott had showered and was dressing for school. He had his dark denim jeans on and a green sweater, grabbing his book bag he picked it up and suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head "Holy crap, what the hell" he dropped his bag and held his head in his hands as another strike hit him from the top of his head and felt as though it ran through the whole of his body "What the heck!!!" hearing a low ringing in his eye Scott began to panic slightly but he suddenly felt a sense of calm washing over him.  Standing up he relaxed and could have sworn he heard someone say something to him In his mind, it was only fleeting so he wasn't 100% sure what he had heard, as quick as it had happened, it left.

On the drive over to pick Amanda up Scott had the radio on, he was flicking through stations but couldn't find a track he liked so he turned it off and drove in silence briefly, after several minutes his radio switched on by itself and Aerosmith don't want to miss a thing came on, he smiled to himself as this was his and Amanda's song that they listened to together, it had been playing the first night that they had seen each other in Cookies Cavern and since then had been their theme song.  Listening to the words he began to relax again and think of all the good times that he and Amanda had ahead of them, being lost in the moment he didn't see as a girl stood out in the middle of the road "SHIT!!!" swerving so he wouldn't hit her the car began to spin out of control and headed towards the grassy embankment, slamming his brakes hard he must have been protected by Angels as the car round to a halt only inches away from a tall oak tree, Scott's breathing was rapid as he tried to calm himself down before remembering why he had swerved in the first place, he spun around but couldn't see anyone in sight.  Climbing out the car he checked himself first to make sure he was Okay and then proceeded to the road, he had left tire marks on the stretch of road where he had swerved but there was no sign of anyone around, not even another car.  Scott suddenly felt on edge, it was as though there was an energy building around him, all he knew was that he had to get out of there asap.  Running back to the car and climbing in, he started the ignition and tried to reverse out the embankment only to find he was suck "Fuck!!!"he grabbed his phone from out his pocket and proceeded to called Matt, he was only 5 minutes from his buddy's home when he heard a tap on the window that made him jump out of his skin and looked to find Amanda's father stood by the door with a concerned look on his face. He jumped out the car "Are you Okay? What on earth happened?" Mr Connors asked "I was just driving along and I saw a girl in the road, she came out of nowhere so I swerved to avoid her and ended up down here" Scott told Daniel who's face suddenly paled at the mention of a girl in the road "What's wrong? What did I say?" Scott asked a suddenly grief stricken Daniel "That girl you saw......that was Amanda's cousin Leah, she was killed by the same demon that's hunting all of you"

Matt knew he had it coming putting off his motor mechanic project was something he was shelving for the time being. This project was much bigger but it was something of a battle to understand. “I mean this is like something you watched on a television show, not something you had to comprehend full on and face to face” He still wanted to try and debunk the whole experience. He thought to himself why he kept seeing double takes on Angels all over the place, something of a co-incidence.. “You’re telling me” he scoffed.
Taking another glance over at Casey talking to her parents took him by surprise by seeing another side of her in another light. “IF this thing dared take another hit at Casey, the demon would have to get through to her via him. He logically thought the whole thing was a dream, such as waking up to Keeley having given him a weird drug to make him think of a whole new dimension for a joke. Underlying, this was not just a silly mistake, this did happen and now he was stood opposite the whole his parents and his friends too.
“So you are not going to give us any indication as to kill this thing?” Matt asked the group.
Matt closed his mouth as soon as he heard Amanda shut her’s. May be they could hunt them down after dark, now Scott had arrived he could hook up with him and become hunter. “What does he mean we are not from this planet?” he said to himself, he pouted a not so good look towards Michael “I come from planet earth and I definitely don’t do “nanu nanu” he chortled as if to say “ I’m not an alien”
“Everyone pipe down” the parents spoke in unison.
Matt became silent just like his other friends; everyone became too serious, or was it “shocked” at the newest of revelations. “we can start writing our own revelations at this rate” he thought to himself.
He subconsciously pulled Casey in for security and she felt him hug onto her for dear life, like he was showing his vulnerable side to hi self without knowing.
Before you knew it, Michael had gone and so they were left with just their parents.
Everyone pretty much stood dumbfounded and it took a good few moments to disperse themselves back to reality.
Silence was golden at that time in the evening began to end, and each family dispersed to where ever next headed.  As for Matt he drove back home with his father and Keeley caught a ride with Brendan soon after.
The Deluka return home was a silent one and he went straight into his bedroom, grabbed his laptop and began to research anything he could find on ascension and angels. He grabbed a notebook and wrote notes as he found fit, and then hid the book in his closet underneath a secret wooden plank which he had managed to rip up to hide his cigarettes that he would hide from his parents.
The whole thing would dumbfound him even when he had closed down to previous things such as jerking in bed. Stupid as he had already caught the culprit and became bashful neither to say.
His phone bleeped and he had received a missed call from his Scott, he proceeded to pout and then put the phone on loud speaker. “Hey, what’s up, I got a missed call, Call me” he turned the phone off and proceeded to write more notes down for his own awareness. It was something he didn’t shout about but would he would keep it to himself so he didn’t look stupid with small talk with Amanda.
An hour or so had passed from writing up and researching ascension and his dad Sean made an entrance into his bedroom after two knocks. Matt closed the book up and hid it under his pillow. “Matt, I thought I would order in some Pizza, can you tell your sister it’s time she comes home, as she is now under curfew”
“Dad, do you believe in fairies?” Matt questioned as he watched for his dad’s reaction, Sean replied “I believe that is a question for your mom, son” “Sean closed the door. “If what you say is true then how come you only get to tell us now?”
“Well there is always a time and a place, and now is the time when you are grown up enough to be taught how to defend for yourselves” his father replied as he looked out of the window. “It’s not like you to question these things,” he continued as he looked inquisitively at his son.
Matt sighed “Well it’s not every day that a group of parents and an archangel meet up for old times’ sake on the views” he returned. “I’m not sure where you are going with this” Matt’s dad responded.
“Well how do you kill a demon?” Matt spilled the beans. Matt leaned his hands behind his head and stared at his dad for an adequate answer. Sean stood up and looked out of the window. “It’s not that simple, but it can be done” he returned. “Keep talking” Matt added
“If this is over Casey, you can defend but you can’t kill. I won’t allow it” His father sternly told him so but knew somewhere deep in his soul that he knew Matt was wanting to retaliate for hurting Casey. “Well it has to be said, I tried it once” Sean returned and closed the curtains as if he was keeping prying eyes and ears out.
He stood silent for a few moments. “DAD!” Matt leaned forward and contested his father. “It was a few years back and myself, Connors and Bauer made the wrong move, it was disastrous for all”
Matt look concerned “ It was an enemy and it retaliated and we had to retreat, we swore we would never lose another one of us”
“Lose who Dad?” he stood up to respect his concerned father.
“ I’ve said enough for now, it will slaughter you if you do not protect yourself Matt, this is not simple like a school fight, it’s much more dangerous-do you understand, you have to flee and call upon Archangel Michael’s protection. Is this adamantly clear. Matthew” Matt’s dad demanded through his own fear, “now case closed”
“So how do I protect myself?” Matt retorted “What do I do if it get’s Casey again” he said worried. “Come on Dad, what will Michael do to help? Am I blinking mad?”
“Just trust him to do his job” Sean replied and went to the bedroom door. “So you not going to tell me who” Matt insisted. “Someone well known to you, now you have heard enough for one day” Sean concluded.
Matt watched him close his bedroom door and threw his American foot ball against the door hanging basket. “Dam” he repeated.
Matt looked in his drawer and took out his knife and gun and kept it in his secret drawer. “I swear if you come anywhere near anyone of us, I’ll kill you.. you just try it” he swung and grabbed the ball back from it’s bounce back.
Matt placed it with bullets into the gun and proceeded to pretend aim at the Demon as he pretended to pull the trigger. "bang bang bang" he spoke silently. "You're going down bitch"
With that he put the gun away and hid it into his secret drawer. Then a voice boomed in his head which began to startle him. "With great power, this is Archangel Michael, you defy me, an order is an order, rely on me and trust in me"
Matt shouted "get out of my head" he shouted "Do not be afraid Matthew, we are on your side, now let it be"
and with that Matt called Casey " Are you there, this is freaking me out".

Amanda woke up fresh thinking as thought nothing weird or extradinary had happened. Grabbing her phone she checked to see for her messages from Casey, Matt, Carol and even more importantly Scott Evans. A smile naturally appeared when she spotted her new boyfriends text message light her phone up. Scott had sent her one telling her that he would meet her at the coffee bean for 9.00am and that he had a sleepless night of broken sleep.
Arwww she thought to herself, he said to meet at the coffee bean in about an hour. It took her by surprise, as she didn't' expect him to remember the name of the hideout, she would go to as a fresh escape into her own time out. She turned to her side and responded "Good morning Scooter, sorry you didn't sleep well, I love you and hope a morning hug and kiss will help sort out your tiredness" Amanda hit the send button on her phone and allowed it to return her answer.
When she felt a prod in her leg as it to say "Hey" she shot up and felt weird and apprehensive at who it could be. She spun around curiously and asked her Guardians who it was. "Your twin" was all they responded. "Your twin, who is that"
Nothing more was shared from that moment, another text lit up on her phone and Scott's name announced his text message. "Scott" she responded with a smile. Misunderstanding that, that in it's self was her answer.
"I'm driving, see you there" with lots of kisses added by his text message. Biting her lip down she processed the text message and put her phone in her bag. Got washed and dressed and ran down to the kitchen.
"Hi mom, " she shouted to her mother over the radio. "I'm making breakfast" he mum libby responded.
"on this occasion, I'm giving it a miss thanks" she chirped as in a rush by her.
"I'm meeting Scott for breakfast" she partially yelled trying to avoid the details and unwanted attention.
"Hey where?" he mum replied.
Flipping over her pancake on the frying pan.
"Cookies, I mean the coffee bean" she recalled holding the back door open to reply.
"Amanda, no coffee if you do, you will have decaf" Libby sternly told her.
Pulling her face, Amanda had other things on her mind. "Mom, I'm old enough to choose what I want to have so just trust my choices"
Pulling her face Amanda had other things on her mind .
"We know you are different and more on another dimension with things, caffeine will dampen the experiences and the ability to trust your gut" she responded. "Oh and you must put up your protection, do I make myself adamantly clear"
"Yup" she replied.
"Make sure you are back home for dinner tonight, your father will be joining us" he concluded as she placed her pancake on the plate.

Making a mark for the local sky link, she jumped on the first available one and made her way down town to the Coffee bean store. Things felt normal when you looked around at everyone sitting down and minding their own business. It reminded her of a conversation held with Casey one year, when she said if you look around on the train, do you really believe that everyone is there in front of you, such as they could be a ghost mingled in with the crowd or some one else.  She walked looked around the carriage cautiously and looked into people's eyes.
Wondering who they were and if they were a threat.
Taking off on to Grandville Central platform she headed up the escalators and over three blocks south to a corner opposite the local library.
They had been there the other day when Scott and herself were researching the demon. Trying to ignore the last few days, she walked into the Coffee bean café.
Cautious wasn't the word and she felt really on edge about walking around alone in the streets of Grandville, underlying feeling that she would come under a threat and under attack by just about anyone, put her almost on top of the wanted for being so scared list. It wouldn't work out that way, she was far too advanced to mention, but she didn't know it all, for her own safety, the angels watched her and she had a legion escort her to Scott. Until she knew he could at least rest assure her, they were doing their job well.
She didn't tremble per say, but she felt open and vulernable, her heart played palpitations once or twice and she often found it hard to trust in the unseen, rather than the seen.
Opening the door, the mad rush had not yet started and an immediate stare made her relax as she turned to Scott who immediate smiled and waved. "OMG, he is so fit" she assured herself in her mind. Amanda bolted to him and felt shy as she suddenly had an ah ha moment that this was indeed her magical new boyfriend that came to be, through heaven's intervention"
He looked so clean shaven and immaculate, hot and stunning was not the word to mention. what had she not noticed this huge grin and perhaps man of gorgeous value. Then he smiled again as though he was talking to her own soul on such a deeper level.
"Cat bit your tongue" he questioned to her
Something like that" she replied smiling back at him adorningly.
she could feel herself warming up in her heart and she pursued to plant her own kiss on his lips. So this was who she was dating, a handsome hot tall dark and handsome young.. scott.
She could not understand  why he could take such an interest in herself but that was another tale.
When she opened her eyes, the fresh gorgeous guy sat smiling back. "Wow" and her mind complimented him.
"You want a coffee?" he asked.
"I'm buying us to a breakfast" she persisted smiling.
"Sounds great"
"Do you like mushrooms?"
He nodded and she walzed off to order the food.
Fifteen minutes had arrived, and she had returned back from placing her order and sat opposite him across the table.
Amanda held his hands they were always gentle and pristine, very soft and massive compared to hers.
"what's into you today, you're on edge," he questioned clearly concerned.
"You stun me, your stunning, that's what" she nuddled him and held onto his hands more tightly, "It's like you were made for me,  like I just woke up and
"Coffee" the waitress offered the two love birds as she poured them into their coffee cups, leaving both of them blushing.
"That was ment to be"
Both laughed and received their breakfasts tooking into them enjoying each others company. "Relax" she reassured her. "You are on edge because of the demon, no one is going to let anything happen to you".  
His voice was southern and had the most loving twang within his accent, he seemed to have a cool temperament and one rich in love and strength that calculated protection from the word go.
After eating and finishing their plates, the order went down well for both of them, as they enjoyed each others company. Kissing was on the menu and so was a lot of scott and Amanda time.
"So this figures, I was just wondering what to do or say about everything that has happened around here lately" she perked up. "sorry maybe I should tell you a joke or something" she added looking at him intently.
Amanda waited for him to respond.

“What do you mean Amanda’s cousin was killed by the same demon that’s after us?” Scott was stunned and questioned Daniel Connors who had turned a rather dusky grey colour “I....I shouldn’t have said anything, just forget that I said anything” Daniel changed his tune suddenly and Scott who wasn’t one for letting things go that easily proceeded to try and get information out of Daniel “With all due respect Mr Connors I think I deserve to know, if anything this kind of information could mean a difference between life and death, for all of us” Daniel lent against Scott’s car and ran his hand through his hair before looking down the road with a faraway look in his eyes “You have to promise me that you won’t breath a word of this to Amanda” Daniel said, Scott didn’t want to lie to Amanda ever but the look on Daniel’s face, the pain in his eyes made him agree. “It was 3 years ago, Leah came to me and told me that she had been experiencing some strange things, she was 5 years older than Amanda and we had a close relationship, all of us did, I saw her as a second daughter more than a niece, her own father my brother wasn’t the maternal type and hadn’t really ever shown an interest in her so we took her under our wing” he paused and closed his eyes briefly “She thought she was going mad but I knew different, at the time I couldn’t tell her anything, none of us could.....we thought it was for her own good but I would give anything now to have told her the truth, that she wasn’t crazy, that this demon was real.....if only I’d...” Daniel stopped himself saying anymore as his voice croaked slightly “So what happened?” Scott asked gently after several moments of silence “One night she came to me, she was very upset saying that she had a bad feeling that something was going to happen to her, that her time was up, that was the last time I ever saw her alive” Daniel made eye contact with Scott, tears filled his once strong eyes “She came off the road just up from here and....the police said it was the worst crash they have seen in a long time, she was only recognized by her dental records” Scott felt his pain and wondered how Amanda had dealt with the death of her cousin “She crashed because she was upset?” Scott asked “That’s what people say, everyone in town said that she was losing her mind and she either had a breakdown or she did it to herself” Scott pondered this for a second “You think the demon did it?” Daniel nodded “I don’t think, I know....Scott this thing you are all dealing with, it’s strong, it knows your weaknesses and it’ll do everything in its power to try and separate you all, you have to stick together, you have to protect my daughter, promise me” Daniel was almost pleading with Scott “Of course, I mean she is my life now sir and I swear to god nothing will get to her whilst I am around, I cross my heart on that one” Daniel gave a smile and placed his hand on Scott’s arm “I know you mean it, I see the way you look at my daughter and just so you know you have my blessing, I know that you two are meant to be together” right on cue Scott’s phone beeped a message from Amanda saying she was on her way to the coffee bean where they were meeting for breakfast “I have to meet Amanda now for breakfast, could you help me out” Scott asked “I’ll give you a ride and I’ll arrange for your car to be towed back to yours, please don’t breath a word of this to Amanda, I think the demon is starting to mess with people’s heads, Amanda can never know the truth about Leah, Scott you must keep this a secret” Scott agreed as they set off in Daniel’s car towards the coffee bean.
Arriving at the coffee bean Scott took a seat and waited for Amanda, he really didn’t like the thought of keeping a secret from her but at the same time her father was so adamant that he didn’t want her knowing he truth, ultimately could not telling her the truth this once save her a lot of heartache? But then why did Leah show herself to him? He needed to find out. Taking out his phone he sent a text to Matt “Hey, I need your help tonight can’t say much here but let’s just say we need to get out Dean and Sam on” Scott referenced the gangs favorite TV show Supernatural, himself and Matt would often act as Sam and Dean for fun. Flicking his phone down he looked up to see Amanda enter the room, she took his breath away every time he saw her.

He smiled at her as she approached the table, she blushed immensely and smiled back before sitting opposite him “Cat bit your tongue?” he joked “Something like that” he lent forward so he was leaning over the table and their faces were only inches apart and he smiled again at her “Lucky cat” he cupped her face with his hand and moved forward kissing her lips softly, brushing his tongue lightly over hers and feeling his heart moan with pleasure as she gave a soft sigh at his kiss before kissing him back. After several moments they parted and he sat back down, she was smiling from ear to ear and he mirrored her smiles with his own “You want a coffee?” he asked her “I’m buying us breakfast” normally a man of chivalry Scott would usually protest and insist on buying himself but he also knew Amanda well and he knew she would be adamant she was buying it “Sounds great” he smiled “Do you like mushrooms?” she asked, he knew that she didn’t from the look on her face as she said the word, he smirked “I do but I’m not in the mood for them today, thanks though” she looked relieved and nodded as she went up to order the breakfast for them both. For saying what a crazy week it had been for the teens, this right here from an outsiders perspective looked like two teens in love meeting for breakfast, no one would know the truth horror they were facing and the battle ahead for the teens.
When Amanda returned she seemed to be quiet jumpy “What’s wrong, you’re on edge today, you Okay?” he asked her, holding her hand across the table and remaining eye contact at all times “You stun me, your stunning that’s what” she blushed causing Scott to blush slightly, something that only Amanda can do to him, one of the many things that only Amanda Connors could do to him “It’s like you were made for me, like I just woke up and....” the waitress interrupted them “Coffee” she poured them both a coffee and looked at each of the lovebirds in turn before smiling “I’ll be back with your breakfast soon” Scott laughed when the waitress walked away “Do you think that was a subtle hint” Amanda joined him in laughing “She’s probably worried she will come back next time and we will be making out” Scott ran his hand through her hair “Sounds like a good plan to me” he lent forward and kissed her again as he had done before “AHEM!!!” they parted and saw the waitress stood holding their breakfasts “Lovebirds” she placed the food in front of them and gave a chuckle before walking away.

Eating their breakfasts like it was the last meal they would ever have they spoke about normal things neither one bringing up the demon or angels, it felt like they were just a couple of normal teens for a short while. Hearing a crash from the kitchen made Amanda jump and Scott instantly put his hand on hers "You are on edge because of the demon no one is going to let anything happen to you" he looked deep into her eyes and nodded at her that he meant it, he knew that she felt safe with him and if it was the last thing he ever did he would make sure she always felt that way and always was safe "So this figures, I was just wondering what to do or say about everything that has happened around here lately" Amanda responded “Maybe I should tell you a joke or something" squeezing her hand he picked it up and kissed it “Come on, what you say we get out of here and go somewhere private" she nodded and they left the coffee bean hand in hand.

Taking the skylink back to Scott's home, Amanda had questioned him on where his car was and he told her that his car wasn't working to good at the moment, he hoped that by the time they arrived home that it would be back like Daniel had promised. Turning the corner onto his street he could see his car in the driveway and he let out a small sigh of relief, entering the house it was silent his parents were at work and Brendan was at college, it was nice to be spending time with Amanda alone, it was long overdue. Getting a drink for them both they were out into the garden, the sun was shining now and they sat together on a swinging chair, Amanda had her legs over his and was resting her head on his shoulder "You know I love you don't you" Scott asked and she nodded and turned to face him "Of course I do Scott and I love you too, more than anything" he kissed her deeply and held her close to him, lay together for what felt like a lifetime was pure bliss for Scott, having the woman he loved in his arms, safe where he could look after her was all he needed in life, he didn't care what else he had so long as he had her.

Moments passed by before Amanda suddenly looked at him with the element of surprise on her face "What's wrong?" Scott asked her "I just....I could have sworn I just heard my cousin....." Scott froze to the spot "But it couldn't be, she died 3 years ago....." Amanda looked saddened and Scott wanted to take her pain away "I guess she never left your side huh, I often think I hear my uncle who passed over" he tried to sway away from the situation "Don't tell anyone but she visits me quite often" she smiled "She died in a car crash on highway 42, it was a tragedy, we were really close" Scott listened "What does she say to you when she visits" he asked "She's always advising me, kind of like she did in life, she talks to me about her accident and every day stuff, not really heard from her though since we got together, it's strange she just kind of stopped contacting me but I swear I just heard her say something about you" Scott felt a little uneased, was the girl Amanda talking to actually her cousin or was it the demons attempt at gaining her trust and trying to get information, if it was Leah she was talking to then Daniel was mistaken and Leah hadn't been killed by the demon rather she had just had a bad accident and it wasn't anyone's fault "What did she say happened in regards to her crash?" Scott asked, he didn't want to upset her but he needed to know what he was dealing with "She swerved to avoid a deer, next thing she was head first into a tree, she said that she died on impact, that's the only comfort I get from her death, that it was quick and painless" Scott knew he would have to talk to Daniel Connors about this, something just didn't add up. Scott could see Amanda had tears in her eyes and he did his best to kiss them away as they shared another passionate embrace, taking her by the hand he led her inside the house and upstairs to his room.

Laying down on the bed together the lovebirds hadn't taken their relationship to the next level yet, not that they hadn't felt ready or they weren't old enough but they had never found themselves to be alone or in a position to explore each other without being interrupted, kissing her on her neck he felt her melting beneath him, her skin was so soft and his hand brushed through her hair whilst the other rested on her waist "I love you" he knew that she was ready, they had spoken about it times before and now felt like the perfect time for their connection that was already so strong between the pair of them to grow even closer, feeling her arms wrap around him was all he needed to know she was as ready as he was. A calm feeling fell over them both as their kiss became deeper and the love in the room would be enough to take out a whole pack of demons as they proceeded to make love for the first time, the love between them unbreakable as two became one.

After the hour of passionate bonding Scott and Amanda could keep their hands from off each other to the point where their next move was heading into the shower cubicle in his on suite bathroom. After getting bubbly in the shower they dried off and walked through back into the bedroom. With a towel on her hair and another around her chest, she followed Scott who was sporting a lovely chest and a towel wrapped bottom half of Scott Evans. Amanda still felt a little off key and wondered why she didn’t feel completely relaxed. I mean she was and she felt connected but something was off putting to her, she tried to hide it around Scott, because she didn’t want him to think it was him, because it wasn’t. She smiled and watched Scott’s body, taking the towel and towelling him off, he turned and kissed Amanda enveloping her around his chest and pulling her warmth around him.
“Your perfect” he kissed her nose with his tender lips and she smiled in return and kissed his chest. He was taller then she, she was a petite rose in his sight and his baby. Amanda always felt his strength and he was a handsome man, she had felt she had died and gone to heaven. She often pinched herself and felt that was she really dating this perfect man. Opening her eyes as she often did, she still found he cared and was very protective of her. She often bit on her lips to think of kissing him again, all over again. That moment was as precious as it was the first time they actually had time just the two of them, or so they both had thought.
Getting dry was hard to do when two young people were in love, Amanda got dressed into a black and white dress with white pumps, whist Scott headed for blue jeans and hard decision making challenge. As moments shared in love were disrupted by a door bell challenge. Both Scott and Amanda jumped when the doorbell rang down stairs. Amanda smiled at Scott and brushed her hand on to Scott’s face. “I better see who that is” she said as she headed out of the bedroom. “Maybe Mom” he replied smiling as he put on his t-shirt.
Running down the stairs, she was startled to see a big shadow stood outside the door; she paused as she felt cautious towards the person who may be stood there. Looking around the home she paused again, and opened the door poking her head around the door. “We’re looking for Scott Evans” a man in a black uniform with armed officers stood by the doorway. “I think you got the wrong household” she returned at ease. She stared at the officer right in his face. “Yeah, you’re looking at two houses further down” she replied. The stranger stared calmly back just as Scott headed downstairs and shouted “Are you okay?” to Amanda. “No they are asking for a Scott Evans, I told them he lives two doors down, ain’t that right?” Scott looked at the men and then looked down at Amanda. “Yeah, he’s the one who moved in last month” he nodded in agreement. “Sorry, we can’t help you any further” Amanda smiled and closed the door. “Run” Scott grabbed her hand and launched a run through his own property. Out through the back and opened the side entry door to more men. “We beg to differ, your coming with us”
Amanda was grabbed first whilst Scott was fought off, “You two must not be together” “Get her” Scott fought the guards, but he was held back with force. “Don’t tell them nothing” Scott screamed after her. “I have nothing to tell them,” yelled Amanda worried “Except, where you taking me?”
Amanda was pushed into the back of a van, and the door was appropriately closed and locked before her. Scott was released with him shouting after the men, “where you taking her” the door slamming shut behind him. Without any hesitation he ran into the lounge and disappeared into the local parkway. Hunting down Daniel Connors straight away.
Amanda was taken into dark room, sitting silently on edge and slightly annoyed that her date had to end like this, she wondered where she was and if she was in any danger, why they wanted her and not both of them. There were three personnel stood talking by the door amongst themselves. “Protection, you are not to be left alone” Archangel Michael boomed inside of her mind, “Protection? Oh the blue stuff” she murmured. “She is talking” another guard spoke up as she put up her blue protection.
“What are you doing?” one guard of medium build man approached the desk she was sat next too. “Nothing” she responded and stared at him. “You’re talking” he retorted. “I’m not” she looked puzzled. She knew Archangel Michael was stood there with her in spirit. “She’s a danger to society” another man walked into the room, “The two of them are to be kept apart”
“We disagree, “ Archangel Michael bellowed again inside Amanda’s head. “we’ll save you,” the angels sang in her mind. She laughed out loud and hoped that they would. “Tell Scott I love him” she said in her mind.
“she’s speaking again, stop that” Amanda clocked on and remained silent. “You have to laugh if you are spoken too, it’s his territory, you’re spoken too, and ddeny all knowledge of who you are. “
“Demons, will try and slay you, but be fear free,” Archangel Michael commanded her. “That’s so easy for you to say” she retorted again.
“Are these people demons?” she answered him in her head,. “She’s talking one officer turning towards her. “QUIET” he demanded and stood threatening towards her. “Don’t use your light” Archangel Michael “they don’t know who you are yet” Archangel Michael stood by her. “They will try to kill you, if they find out you are an angel” he told her firmly. A sense of security warmed around her and the love she felt inside and out was too profound to ever be able to explain it.
“You’re one of them” The other officer approached her, you are one of them” he said. “I’m just me” she answered him back.
“You know who you are” he questioned again.

Getting dry and watching Amanda as she dried off, the young teen had never felt so happy in all his life. Yes, his hormones were on overdrive but he also knew that the connection between the two of them was now sealed, that no one or nothing could break the bond they shared. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her as she dressed and he watched her blush as there eyes met. Walking over he pulled her in for a hug and kissed her gently on the forehead “I love you Amanda” she grinned up at him and repeated the three little words that he needed to hear.
Hearing a knock on the door downstairs they both looked towards the stairs “I’ll get it” Amanda smiled as Scott continued to get dressed, watching her skip off down the stairs he laughed to himself and proceeded to put on some aftershave. He could hearvoices downstairs that he didn’t recognise, edging towards the door to get into a better ear shot he heard his name mentioned “I think you’ve got the wrong household” Amanda responded, why would she instantly know to lie to these people? Scott breathed a sigh of relief, surely they haven’t found him again? He hadn’t gotten around to telling Amanda why they had had to move in the first place, he was scared to begin with that she would think he was mad, since they had gotten closer all this demon stuff had come up and the right time just never came.

“Your looking at two houses further down” he heard his girlfriend telling the strangers as he came down the stairs, game face on. “Are you Okay?” he asked Amanda who quickly turned to face him, he could see she looked concerned but never faultered showing towards the men in black “No, they are looking for a Scott Evans, Ii told them he lives two doors down, ain’t that right?” Scott nodded and made his way over to Amanda placing his hand protectively on the small of her back “Yeah, he moved last month, sorry we couldn’t help you any further” closing the door on the men Scott turned to Amanda and grabbed her hand “Run” it was as though she had read his mind and was one step ahead of him as she was pulling him through the house and out the back doors, running around the side of the house to the gate they opened the door and were met with more men “Wwe beg to differ, your coming with us” one shouted whilst grabbing Ammanda “HEY, GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER” Scott shouted launching forward and being met by two burly men grabbing him from either side “GET THE HELL OFF ME.....AMANDA.....” he watched with frustration and panic as she was thrown into the back of a black SUV “Don’t tell them nothing” he managed to shout, hearing Amanda respond that she had nothing to tell as the door was promptly shut. Freeing himself of the two men Scott started after the van but was stopped when he felt a punch to his stomach, falling to the fall and holding his gut, the men jumped into a separate vehicle and speed off. Climbing to his feet he knew he had to find Daniel Connors and fast, not before getting the license plate numbers.

Running back into the house and up the stairs taking 3 at a time, Scott grabbed his phone and sent an urgent message to Matt, Brendan, Keeley and Casey before heading back down and out the front door grabbing his car keys as he went. Driving as fast as he could over to the Connors household he pulled up and ran out the car and down the pathway to the front door, he let himself in seeing this as one of those times where it was acceptable and stopped dead in his tracks as he saw one of the men who had only moments before punched him stood in the hallway shaking hands with Mr Connors “What the hell???” Daniel shuck his head “It’s not what it look like Scott” he ushered for the hence man to leave the two alone “Oh no, well to me it looks like you are doing work with the enemy” Scott was pissed, it was bad enough this happened but to think that Daniel Connors was in on it, Amanda would be destroyed if she knew her daddy dearest was into something like this “There’s things you don’t know, there’s things you can’t possible know. I am doing this to keep my daughter safe” Daniel said stepping forward, Scott took a step back “And who are you going to hurt in the process? lives are you going to get messed up?” Scott couldn’t understand why Daniel would be doing this “With all due respect, I know your angry son but you don’t know the details” Scott laughed “Then enlighten me Daniel, because all I know is that your daughter has just been taken, kicking and screaming, scared and not knowing what’s going on” “She won’t come to any harm” Daniel spoke “Are you certain of that? Because I’m not and your word isn’t going to cut it with me.....You take me to her right now or I swear to god I am calling the police. I have enough information and I’m sure that the angels would be more than happy to step in” Daniel didn’t speak for several moments, Scott could feel himself shaking from sheer anger and because he didn’t know where Amanda was and that wasn’t a feeling that he enjoyed at all. “Very well, I’ll take you to her but this has to be done Scott, this is a natural process” “A process for what? Who are you? Who do you work for?” Scott needed answers “It’s not what, it’s who” Daniel replied “I’ll take you to her and explain on the way”.

For a few moments Scott wasn’t sure if getting into the car with Daniel was a good idea but something inside told him it was Okay and that he could be trusted, Scott followed that intuition it had always steered him well in the past. Maybe Daniel was doing all this for Amanda but as memories began to form from his past Scott needed answers and he needed them now.

“So? You want to tell me what’s going on?” Scott asked as Daniel pulled the car out the driveway and headed north towards the Grange overpass “It wasn’t meant to come out like this, just know that whatever happened and has happened I did it all to protect you kids, nothing more nothing less” Scott glanced across at him “You know don’t you? About what happened to me?” Daniel glanced across to Scott and nodded "Yes but I didn't l know at the time that you and my daughter would become so close" Scott grunted "So if you had of known it would have made a difference? I was treated like I was a mental case, do you know how that made me feel? My whole family....they looked at me like I was a freak or something" Scott could feel his anger raising as he thought over his past again "It never meant to go as far as that Scott, look all will be explained in time but for now I need you to do something for me" Daniel turned down a side street past Cordova Avenue "Why would I do anything for you?" Scott spoke bitterly "Because if you love my daughter and I feel that you do then you will do this, to protect her" he stopped the car outside of a warehouse and turned the engine off "I have to make them believe that I brought you in, not that you came in of your own accord" Scott felt even more confused "I give you my word that within a few hours both you and Amanda will be out of here, no harm will come to either of you but for your own safety and Amanda's I need you to co-operate on this one" startled by a voice in his head he knew now to be Archangel Michael, Scott listened "You can trust him Scott, stay true to yourself and follow your intuition, it will always guide you wisely" Scott nodded at Daniel "Fine, I'll go along with it but I swear one false move and I'm out of here with Amanda in tow" Daniel nodded "I give you my word and I stand by that, the only reason I got involved in any of this was to keep a close eye on my daughter, she is the most important person in the world to me, man to man you should understand that" Scott did understand, she was the single most important person in his world "Okay, take me to my girl".

What could Daniel say to the young man sat beside him that would make him see that he really was doing this for his daughter’s best interest, what could he tell the young man that was in love with his daughter that he wasn’t bad guy, he was just a guy who got caught up in bad things and was trying to make amends for them. He really admired Scott’s passion for his daughter and his bravery too, not many people would have asked some of the questions he asked for a young teen he was certainly mature.

Explaining that Scott would need to play along with what he asked he could tell that he wasn’t exactly relishing the idea but Daniel managed to talk him around, if the people inside got wind that Daniel was helping in some way it would blow his cover and all the hard work that he had put in would be over within a heartbeat. There was still so much that Scott didn’t know and for now he wanted to keep it that way to keep him and all the other teens safe, for now he had a need to know basis and this way if they did take Scott in for questioning, he wouldn’t know anything worth hurting him over.
What Scott didn’t know and he didn’t want him to know was that when he had been placed in an asylum it had been to protect him from the outside world, his family had been more than aware that he wasn’t crazy but they had to follow certain procedures to keep him and everyone around him safe, Daniel knew it couldn’t have been nice for Scott who back then was a young adolescent to be placed in such a place but on reflection it was for the best, for Scott’s wellbeing but it wasn’t the time nor his place to tell him this.

“So what do you want me to do?” Scott asked him, breaking his train of thought. “I need you to follow me in, I’ll have to restrain you but it’s just for effect Okay? I promise you no harm will come to you. Just protest a lot and make a scene but not too much that you’ll draw too much attention” Daniel opened the glove compartment and pulled out a set of handcuffs “You have to be kidding me, can’t you just guide me in?” Scott asked and Daniel shuck his head “If you wanna see Amanda then it has to be this way, trust me Scott” Scott begrudgingly nodded and they exited the car “Now just don’t worry about anything Okay” Daniel placed the cuffs on Scott behind his back “You still haven’t told me what all this is about?” Scott was still obviously confused and angry “The less you know the better for now, as soon as I get you and Amanda back I will explain everything, I promise you. It’s about time you knew the truth” Scott nodded and they made their way round to the front of the warehouse.

Entering a code on the panel at the main doors Daniel gave Scott the look to say it was time and gently shoved him through the doors “Hey get the hell off me” Scott immediately went into acting mode as they entered the building and several guys in suits turned to look at them “Mr Connors” one of the guys greeted him with a nod “I need room 4 is it open? I need to get some answers" he nodded towards Scott "Answers to what" the suit guy asked "You will know as soon as I know now step down" he commanded. Over the past few years he had really made a name for himself here, he was top dog and everyone respected him, he couldn't blow his cover now, not so close to finding out the answers. "Room 4 is available sir" the man gestured towards the back of the building "I'm not going anywhere with you" Scott piped up "If you know what's good for you, you'll co-operate now shut up until your spoken to" turning to the guy stood before him he spoke again "Where is my daughter?" "She's in room 5" with that he took off with Scott in tow making his way to room 4 and standing outside of it entering another code into the panel on the side of the door and pushing Scott inside. He watched as Scott looked at him unsure if it was safe to speak "Sit down" Scott did as he was told and Daniel walked over to him and lent down to whisper in his ear "Now they can hear us but they can't see us, I need it to sound like your fighting me and then I want you to go quiet Okay?" Scott nodded "There's something I need to show you, I'm going to let you in to through the door at the back, wait there for me until I come to you, understood?" again Scott nodded. The two of them proceeded to have a heated discussion, Scott mouthing off at Daniel that he wouldn't tell him anything, Daniel knocked over some furniture for dramatic affect then when the time was right Scott fell silent and Daniel let him in quietly through the secret doorway at the back before closing it and heading out to the corridor where he was met by one of his workers "I've had to give the kid a little something, don't let anyone in or out do you understand me?" "Yes sir" the suit took position outside the door and Daniel made his way to room 5 to where his daughter was, he knew she would have questions and lots of them, if there was one thing he knew about his daughter was that she always asked questions.

Reaching room 5 he knocked and waited for his colleague to emerge "How is she?" he asked "She's not talking, well unless you count to herself" Daniel half smiled knowing full well who she was talking to "I'll take over from here" Daniel went to go in the room when the guy stopped him "What is it?" the guy he knew only as Marcs looked a little shifty "We had to give her a little something, she was being unruly" Daniel could feel his blood boiling "WHAT, I gave strict instructions to not harm her" he clenched his fist "She's not harmed, she's just taking a nap, the effects will wear off soon enough" Daniel shoved Marcs to one side and entered the room to find his daughter slumped across the table "Amanda" he ran over to her and lifted her head up to find she was unconscious, picking her up in his arms he moved her from the room "Where you taking her?" Daniel barged past "I told you to not touch her, you'll pay for this" he walked off with Amanda in his arms "It's going to be Okay baby, Daddy is here" making his way to Scott he entered another corridor and made his way to a room at the back where a retinal scan accessed the door, as it swung open he quickly looked around before entering and made his way through another set of winding corridors to find Scott waiting and looking concerned, his concerned tripled when he saw Amanda in his eyes "What happened?" he ran up to him "Is she Okay?" he held her face in his hands "She will be, I need to show you something, follow me" the 3 of them headed to the end of the corridor and came to an old elevator that no one else in the building knew about, opening the door Daniel ushered Scott in and he followed with Amanda, they made there way down to the bottom floor and when the doors opened he heard Scott gasp "Come on we haven't got much time".

Even though Daniel had seen it a million times before it was still a sight to behold, especially with Scott and Amanda with him, it made it all the more real "Scott, I want to introduce you to some people...." they both stood in silence as they took in the 6 pods that were lay before them each home to an exact copy of the 6 teens "These are your doopelgangers and they are going to help you to save the world and kill the demon" as Daniel watched Scott open mouthed trying to take it all in, Amanda began to stir in his arms and he awaited the onslaught of questions from his daughter and her boyfriend".

After the bedroom door shut after his father’s exit. Matt lay back on his bed and turned on the television. Flicking a few channels nothing was of value and he left a rock music channel on the TV in the background. He pulled out a cig and locked the bedroom door behind him. Climbing out of his bedroom window, he sat on the balcony and lit it up. Taking a deep drag of the cigarette, he released the smoke with a huge sigh of release. Trying to keep himself from going into shock with the day’s revelations, he felt somewhat overwhelmed. IF that wasn’t enough, he was equally shook up with Archangel Michael warning about using his gun to keep Casey safe.
The noise of crunching stones under feet of an up and coming visitor to his home, he looked down to see who the fortunate soul was. “Hey,” Casey arrived and smiled looking up to him on his balcony. “I couldn’t be without you” she sheepishly gisted at him and seconded a smile back towards him
Casey proceeded to climb up the side towards Matt on the balcony and hoping to avoid any telling off from his folks, who were downstairs in the property. Casey swung her leg over and nearly lost her footing. Matt launched up to try and grab her. Both laughing to break the sweat of the near fall, he pulled her over with one last attempt.
“So you’ve started up again” she nodded pointing to the cig. Matt stumped it out and threw it over the next door’s fence. “No evidence here” he smiled and pointed for her to return into his bedroom.
Back in the bedroom, they both sat side by side on his bed, as he took some double mint from his pocket he suggested to Casey to take a stick, before popping one in for himself. “It’s been quite a day” Casey rubbed his arm reassuringly. “Are you okay?” So far so good, any sign of your demon?” Matt responded. “Nope it has gone all quiet” she answered looking at his face inquisitively.
Matt looked back at her lips and flew in for a tender kiss before he pulled back away. “I love you” he announced to her. “Always will do forever” he added on as he parted his ways to get changed.
“So what do you think we should do?” Matt asked “It’s a bit of a weird one for me” Casey looked at him concerned and expecting him to expand within the conversation.
“Do you ever feel like you are going mad? What with people talking to you in your head, is that normal?” Matt would always tell his doubts and worries and share them with Casey; it was his way of being helped to stay tough on the outside and gooey on the inside. Amanda always told him that she described him like a gooey Maryland Cookie, but only for Casey to handle.
Casey remained silent for a few moments, trying to digest him and his feelings. Matt broke the silence and then laughed and put his happy face on him. “Hey, check this, I spoke to dad about things earlier” he continued to disclose as he revealed his own bare naked chest to Casey and managed to grab a fresh black t-shirt out and began to change into it.
“So what did he say? “Casey answered looking at his chest. The heavy energy lifted from them and dispersed. “I asked if he believed in fairies” he sighed with a light hearted chuckle.
Casey laughed “and what did he say to that?” she smiled and looked up to him. She began placing her hair back up into a bun with neat precision and rewarded herself with two pins in either side of her hair. Matt staged himself and mimicked his father’s standing position in the bedroom. He started to laugh and then stood up in position “Son, that’s a question for your mother” Both of them started giggling. “Do that again” Casey asked sniggering.
Matt splashed some pacco robanne on his neck and shaving area, “Done, I thought we could go out for a quiet walk” he suggested. To him Casey was like a Spanish Sienna, long legged, beautiful like the radiant sun and long, luscious hair. Casey was a woman which would make any one jealous of sporting a woman like her on his arm.
“Are we gonna be safe?” Casey muttered. Linking his hand in hers and surprisingly both walked out of the bedroom and down stairs into the stairwell and snuck out of the side lobby area. He nodded “Security is mine” he answered as he opened the car door and ushered her into the passenger side of his car.
Just then Matt’s phone pinged to say a message had arrived. Casey picked it up and looked across to Matt worried.
“It’s Scott” she responded Matt retrieved the message and opened it up and looked shocked across back at Casey. “It’s Amanda, she’s been taken”
“Whaat?” Casey exclaimed worried “Who? The demon? How.. Where”
Matt asked her to stay calm and they headed towards the Connors’ household, putting his foot down on the accelerator and allowing him to head out quickly on to the other side of town.
“Does your dad now?” she continued angrily, “I’ve tried calling both of them, they are not answering Matt” “Do you think they are together” Matt shouted towards Casey “You’re getting to sound like Amanda with all the questions”
Arriving at Amanda’s, he pulled up next to Daniel Connors two business cars. To Matt this looked odd because he only normally had one there, and wondered what was happening. Knocking on the front door to Amanda’s a few moments later the door opened to a calm looking Daniel Connors. Matt and Casey on edge with the decision of it being the right one or not. “Have you seen Amanda?” Casey asked him directly. “We received a message that she has disappeared” Casey held onto Matt’s hand tightly. “We’re just worried Mr. Connors and wondered if there was anything we could do to help” Matt backed up Casey with concern for their best friends.
Daniel nodded his head and looked across towards the Bauer’s and looked towards Casey “I believe that she is now in safe hands” he answered “I believed her boyfriend has told you the news?” he told her calmly. Matt looked disgruntled and knew something wasn’t right. Normally, he would offer the kids a chance to come into the home and secondly, the calmness and secretiveness was a little overwhelming.
“So she’s safe you say? Can we see her? And is she with Scott? Where is he?” Matt loved to investigate matters into his own hands. Daniel began to look a little impatient You’re guess is as good as mine” Daniel pulled his keys out from his coat pocket. Daniel played his part well, knowing his scientific background all too well, he knew his upsides downs, just like a cream cake, people loved to sponge for information, especially when it concerned their friends to include his own daughter”
Now, Matthew, Casey I have a job to get done” he came out of the home and closed the door locking it up. “So are you going to tell us where they are?” Matt questioned again following him to the car. “Don’t you two think, you owe it to yourselves to take a break, after all you have been told?” he smiled at both of them reassuringly. “She will has been found and Scott, well I have arranged for him to be escorted to her, they are both safe, let me assure you”
Closing the door to his black sportage car he pulled out and sped away. Leaving Matt and Casey stood bewildered.
“Is this Crazy?” Matt retaliated
“Do you think we should trust him?” Casey questioned.
“So what next?” Matt turned to Casey as they stood outside the property.

Amanda was not expecting to see any day like today, the way it had taken her by surprise. The was she was snatched from Scott left her feeling sick in the stomach and not knowing why she was snatched, and who these people were and why they were wanting from her. Her mind raced over pages of knowledge which was passed down by Archangel Michael and the masters of the universe. In addition to this other angels such as guardians and knowledge they had told her was the key to power and people needed you for this sacred knowledge. “yay, well I ain’t saying zip, they should love more and then ask for it from the universe, and then they may get somewhere” she muttered staring out into nothing. The men sat armed inside the vehicle and it felt as heartless as anyone in the secret operation or the military.
“ ask for Scott Evans, then take me?” Amanda chirped back at the guy. “Why did he get taken separately?”She continued to mouth back feeling encouraged by Archangel Michael’s defence on her side.
“that makes me mad, they lay one finger on him” she pipped back
“And you will do what?” he questioned with a snarky attitude, looking at her from across the way.
“Quiet, or else you will.. “
Amanda stayed quiet as commanded by the officer till the end of the journey.  Amanda was heavily escorted down grey corridors which were all dimly lit. Some form of various offices and chambers were storage facilities on either side of her. Feeling more fearful, she wondered what would happen to her. Through three security doors and down to the very end, she was placed in a cell like room; it was a dark holding room. It held just a simple chair and table. She could have run but how could she know how to get out.
“Sit here” one armed office commanded a she obeyed without a word. Thinking about how to scream for help, that was when she had heard Archangel Michael boom inside her head, enough for her to jump. Trust was the key with Michael, he wasn’t one to be messed around with, and if you didn’t you was in trouble. He was like a big brother, best friend and father all rolled into one as well.
“You are one of them!” the questioning began as one oldest man in his late forties, stern looking face, he stunk of old tobacco and he chewed on a gum. Michael had warned her that they would kill her if they found out if she was an angel. Great fear overwhelmed her at this point, until a sense of security, strength and courage was sent to her by him.
The tall dark haired man was younger than the other, but yet had a horrid direct stare that tried to penetrate into her own soul to read her. Her heart covered her soul for protection, as love protects all matter.  Amanda smiled back at him, trusting in what Archangel Michael had told her she spoke up more frequently then she had dared. “Having fun, with puzzles, you can’t read me, I know what you are trying to do” Michael told her in her mind telepathy not to give away to fear, that it was their power and she would succumb to their circumstances. He had advised her well to laugh at them and that would turn their darkness away.
“You know who you are” he repeated pointing the gun at her. “She is wavering” the third security man jaunted at her smiling. “Yes I know who I am, but who the fuck are you and why you keeping me here, I have a right to know why and where is my boyfriend?”
“Oh so Mr. Evans, let me say he’s been taken away into a secure location, where you will be following suit” All three of them stayed stern looking and took turns to question her.
She felt her heart sink at that very moment but a fire started in her heart to burn and allow her to gain the energy she required to stay more positive. “Amanda, you must remain calm” Michael interrupted her thoughts. “I can’t” then do what you have to do” he told her and stayed there for the rest of her time in the cell.
“So you going to brief me and tell me what is going on?” she flared up again, this time getting more provoked. “What is it you are hiding?”
He clicked his finger for another guard to come forward. “You deny any evidence of knowing who Scott Evans is and yet you both run when questioned by an officer” he snapped back at her with growing annoyance from her questioning. He next threw a photo of Scott in front of her on the table. Amanda smiled back at him and “he’s out smarted you on many occasions, that’s true” Thinking to herself, what a nice photo, she looked at it for a good few moments, trying to relax and think of him, so she could connect with him more strongly.
“And don’t you think that for a moment we would dispel that myth in an instant, that you both don’t know why you should not be together”
Amanda laughed “Sir, I think you both should be invited to our wedding, then you may try to call our wedding off” she laughed out loud, just as Archangel Michael had suggested.
“Shut your mouth woman, you’ve been told too many times” he turned to the other officers and concluded some form of their investigation.
Two guards nodded to each other and walked over to the steel door towards the back of the room and walked outside.
Security staff reduced to the minimum, the officer grabbed a chair and pulled it up closer to her on the opposite side of the table. “You seem to be talking to someone and then you deny it and there you lay claim that you deny you are someone other than Amanda.. Connors” he looked down at his note pad. Looking at her straight in the eyes as if to direct a serious threat to her, he continued to force her through fear to talk up and he was obviously beginning to lose patience by the way he slammed the chair down in front of her. Yet, he somehow put the chills down her spine by the way he stared into her. “ you are lying to us and you know it and secondly, it makes it obvious, that you may be losing the plot” he suggested with a twist of the finger around his head as if to make out she was ’loopy’.
Amanda sat quietly looking at Archangel Michael for reassurance; she looked around and become more distempered. “I’m not telling anything” she bellowed at him, as she lost her temper “I just want to go home to Scott and my family”
“Button it” The security guard came storming in like a storm trooper from Star Wars except for the white shell suit, he was kitted out with dark blue armoured uniform.
“Leave us” the officer sat in front of her.. named “Marcs”  
“I can’t take this no more, I want you to take me to Scott right now” she shouted again before sitting quiet, knowing that shouting was not going to get her anywhere
“Now, now Miss Connors, we are going to try and ease your mind, by giving you some medicine, if you answer the following questions, we will decide to call this off, however, if you do not, then we will do the same thing as we did, with your boyfriend.”
“Do you know Scott Evans secret history?”
Next question “Do you know you are a danger to our society?, last question “Please tell me who you really are and we will let you go free”
He lifted up his face from reading the questions and stared directly into her eyes.
“I told you Scott is innocent, I know everything about him, and I am not dangerous, I spread love and I just started college”
Marcs stood up from his chair and raised his eye brows. “Fair enough” he walked silently out of the room for a while.
“Amanda” Archangel Michael’s voice spoke calmly “with respect, you will be spending some time with me in a few moments, you will have to become a brave  young lady, infact you are, I’ll come and get you” Amanda looked pale as a white horse as she was not expecting what would come next.
With the door opening a doctor and two armed officers walked in and approached her either side.
“Hold her” Marcs ordered the security guards, with the door closing behind her with a slam. Marcs stood before her and smirked shifting cautiously with nervous intuition.
“We’ve looked at your doctors records and we think we’ll just give you a sedative to ease your mind, what with your muttering and being non compliant, we think that will work for a while” he grinned.
“Hold her down” he ordered and he nodded to the doctor to administer the drug to Amanda’s neck with a large needle.
Watching her fight the substance worked immediately  and she flopped on to the table out cold. “That will do for a while”
Few hours later, Amanda stirred and jumped as she found she was being carried in the same building. “Get off me” she cried out in alarm “Scott, Scott, “
“Hey, we are together, we got you, you’re safe” he calmed her Scott stroked her hair as she came round, his sweet face was enough to awaken anyone out of slumber and to see his smile, she thought she had arrived in heaven.  “Amanda, you are with me, you are safe” a familiar voice from her father soothed her as she woke up. “DAD” she screamed happily and she gave them both a smile.
Amanda lifted her head  to try and see what was going on, only to wake up more fuzzy then expected. “Not so quick” Scott suggested smiling “you been out cold for a while”
He looked across at Daniel who looked cautiously at him, “the secret is safe with me” Scott assured Mr. Connors. “What secret?” Amanda asked looking at both of them.
“Now is not the time to be asking questions, you can ask questions in my office” he answered her firmly. “Quick, we will have to leave, now” he said to Scott, who made the suggestion to carry Amanda. “Agreed, but we will have to go quick, here you grab the keys and I will be with you. I just have to deal with a few things, I’ll meet you in five minutes, if I’m not back by then, take her to this address” he detailed his business address card and handed it to him with his order.
Scott looked at him cautiously, and placed his keys in his jacket. He carried Amanda out of the exit where Daniel had pointed him to where he had pulled in with his car. Scott stood still and looked at the pods in amazement wanting to show Amanda and ask more questions, he felt he was let off the hook and felt a mixture of mistrust and cautiousness. “C’mon, let’s get you out of here” he reassured her; Amanda weakened and not yet fully come around smiled at Scott. “You came back for me”
Scott kissed her gently, “Do I ever let you down?” he smiled but he was on edge with what her dad may be up too back in the building where she was rescued from”
Outside in the car park, he quickly found the car and opened the door; he placed her gently into the back and covered her with a blanket. “everything is going to be okay, from now” he promised her with a wink in his right eye. “ Amanda looked at him very lovingly and kissed him yet again
Shutting the door, he walked around to the left hand side drive and opened the door to the driver’s seat. He sat in and pulled the keys out of his blue hooded jacket and then put the key in the ignition and made a start to the engine.
Pulling out, of the car park at full speed he drove to the address on her father’s business card, once there he pulled up and grabbed Amanda and walked her into Daniel’s private office.
Grabbing a drink of water for them both, Amanda sat up right and looked at him” boy am I glad to see you” she smiled and lay her head into his chest and hugged him tightly. “Are you okay?” she questioned.
He shifted around “Kinda, got worried about you, I called your dad straight away” he answered. “So you were in this together?” she questioned. Scott looked at her” Trust me, this is not the time and place” Amanda looked confused “You need rest.
Daniel walked into his office “How is she?” he smiled at his daughter. “Question time” he smiled “Keys” he looked at Scott.
“They are over on your desk” Scott pointed but wouldn’t leave Amanda.
“Why did they take me, is it because I am an Angel, and how you and Scott come together to play superheroes did?” she started at them both.
“Who are these people? Does mom know about this?” she continued. “Dad, why are they saying that me and Scott are not to be together? And I’m a danger to society?, I love Scott and my every intention is to stay by his side, no one will change that, I love him Dad.”

Daniel hadn’t planned on showing Scott Evans the pods with the dopple-gang teenagers in, nor had he planned on his daughter being taken and drugged, heads would roll when he got hold of Marcs again, no-one touched his family and got away with it NO-ONE!!!!
Hearing Amanda coming round he handed his daughter into the capable hands of her boyfriend, he knew the two of them had a special bond and they had his and his wife’s blessings, Scott was a lovely young man, very mature for his age and the way he had stood up to Daniel about Amanda made him respect him all the more, he was willing to go above and beyond to protect Amanda and when Daniel was gone he wanted to know that she was in safe hands.

“Amanda you are with me, you are safe” Daniel smiled at his daughter and brushed her face gently with his hand “DAD” she smiled at him, not letting go of Scott who was still awe struck at the pods that were situated behind Daniel.

“The secret is safe with me” Scott nodded his approval towards Daniel who nodded back “What secret?” Amanda was trying to see past Daniel but was still a little dizzy from the drugs. “Now is not the time to be asking questions, you can ask questions later, quick, we will have to leave, now” Daniel ushered the pair of them “Here you grab the keys to my car and I will be with you. I just have to deal with a few things I’ll meet you in five minutes, if I’m not back by then, take her to this address” Daniel handed Scott one of his business cards and a secure location just the other side of town “Look after my daughter Scott” he spoke firmly but ended with a smile as he left.

Leaving the teens Daniel headed back into the buildings main entrance and began his search for Marcs, he wasn't going to let him get away with drugging his daughter that was for sure. When he was unable to find him Daniel decided to get back, he knew that both Amanda and Scott would have questions, going to the room where Amanda was still meant to be, he relieved the guy who he had left securing the room and told him that he was taking his daughter home, he told him to pass on a message to Marcs that he would be dealing with him when he saw him.

Taking one of his work cars Daniel started the drive to his secure location, he hoped that they had gotten there without any troubles, as Daniel walked into his office he saw Scott sat next to Amanda looking after her "How is she?" he smiled at Amanda "Question time" Scott responded with a smirk, it was a running joke that Amanda loved to ask questions, she would always follow them all with another so she never really got an answer that didn't warrant another question.

“Why did they take me, is it because I am an Angel, and how you and Scott come together to play superheroes Dad? Who are these people? Does mom know about this? Dad, why are they saying that me and Scott are not to be together? And I’m a danger to society?, I love Scott and my every intention is to stay by his side, no one will change that, I love him Dad”.

"Wow slow down Amanda, you'll burn yourself out quickly if you carry on" he chuckled to himself and removed his suit jacket. Walking over to his drinks cabinet he poured himself a brandy and poured OJ for the teens before taking a seat opposite them and taking a long drink of his brandy. "Scott, have you told Amanda what I showed you" he shuck his head "What did you show him, what am I missing?"
"There's still a lot of things I can't tell you, you have to understand that I am telling what I feel is right for you to know, I don't want to tell you something that could get you hurt, you both understand me?" they both nodded at him "Now to answer your questions, they took you because they know you are different, trust me they don’t know to what extent you are all different, I have done my upmost to make it the case that they never find that out but they are getting close” Daniel could see the look on his daughters face change, he knew what she was thinking before she even spoke “I’m not one of the bad guys sweetheart” he stood up and walked over to his daughter “I’ve already explained this to Scott, the only reason I am working with them....the only reason is to protect you all, we figured that having someone on the inside would make more sense” Daniel rubbed her hand and gave a reassuring smile “Who’s we?” Scott piped up, turns out he didn’t miss a trick either, much like his daughter “Myself, your mother, The Bauers, Sean Deluka, Archangel Michael” Scott and Amanda looked taken aback not for the first time in the past few days “In fact” Daniel sat back down and took another drink of his brandy “It was Michael who made me aware of this organisation, as soon as I got wind of it, I got my foot in the door” Amanda sat forward “How did you do that?” he smiled “That’s for another time, for now I’ll answer the questions you’ve already asked then I think it’s time to get you both home, Matt and Casey will be worried sick and anyone else that you told in the process” Amanda turned to Scott who smiled “You didn’t think I wasn’t going to round up the troops the moment you were taken” he placed his hand in hers and Daniel smiled, he felt proud to her father.

Breaking the silence Daniel continued “SO.....who are they? They are a secret organisation called CRESS or as they are formally known Creative Resource Examination and Special Skills don’t ask me who came up with the name, for a secret society it’s pretty lame” the teens both gave a little chuckle out loud at Daniel trying to use modern terminology such as ‘lame’ in a sentence “I’ll save all the boring details for another time but surface to say I was told about them, I got my foot in the door and the rest is as they say history, I have been with them best part of 13 years now, ever since we found out that they even existed. They don’t know who you are but they do know that you are all stronger when you are together, I know how much you both love each other that has been a prominent factor in all of this and you NEED to stay together, it’s the only way that you can all defeat whatever is coming, don’t make the mistake that we made” Daniel had said too much and he knew his words were out and couldn’t be taken back now “Why what did you do?” Amanda asked “It wasn’t so much me and your mother but Matt and Keeley’s mother Sarah” Daniel had never spoken of Sarah before to the teens, he knew they were aware that she had left the twins when they were 4 years old but no one really explained why “I guess it’s time you found out but DO NOT and I repeat do not tell Matt, Keeley or Casey about this, they don’t know and I’m not sure how Sean would feel about me telling you” both teens sat forward all ears “Sarah....she was lured by dark lights and she eventually gave in, we were all so shocked and devastated for Sean they were high school sweethearts as we all were but we were naive, we didn’t know what we know now and dark lights well they tried to pick us off one by one and Sarah, she caved” Daniel still missed Sarah, after all she had been a big part of all their lives growing up “They sent someone, a guy to mess with her head and make her believe that Sean was cheating on her and trust me Sean absolutely doted on her, unfortunately she believed this guy and ended up leaving town with him, no one saw or heard from her after that” Amanda looked thoughtful “Is she even alive still?” she asked her voice sad “No one knows, I’d like to think so....that’s what they do, they try to pick you apart so don’t listen to any negativity, don’t allow anyone to sway your thoughts or your own minds because they will try everything that they can to get to you, you can’t let them none of you can” Daniel was feeling like he had said to much “Look, I know you won’t say anything to anyone right now about what I’ve told you and as for the pods” Amanda chirped in “What pods?” Daniel forgot that he hadn’t told her what he had shown Scott “Another time, I think you have both been through enough for now, Scott can you take Amanda home please I have some things I need to do" Scott nodded but Amanda was less than keen "Amanda, do as I ask please, I will explain more later, you have had a long day and you need to rest" Amanda started to protest but stopped when Scott placed his hand in hers "Come on, let's get you out of here".

Seeing the teens safely out of office Daniel returned back and picked up the phone, he dialled Michael Bauers phone number "Hi Michael, it's Daniel we need to talk, get Sean and meet me at the office" hanging up the phone Daniel poured himself another drink.

Michael Bauer was a strong man he had everything going for him. He had a gorgeous wife, a beautiful daughter, and an intelligent son. Together, as a family, they were powerful and he headed his team by co-leading it with his beautiful wife Katherine. Heading direct to his home from leaving work, he was looking forward to a brandy and good company, sat relaxing with his wife over candle light dinner before the kids came in from being with their own friends.
Unwrapping a piece of game with one hand and the other hand firmly on the steering wheel, he popped the mint chew into his mouth. Looking into the rear view mirror, he watched out for anything cautionary which would place him under any risk.

Now with most things out in the open, he had good reason to watch his back for any dark lights. Dark lights were a term used within the three families which they would use when out in society and wanting to discuss anything which was not from love. Dark lights were the description used to provide individuals whether people or demons that were dark in energy and not from the light. The parents had found lots of secret cells who did not share the same ethos as the ones that the archangels taught the families over the past few decades. These people were in search of the earth angels to dampen their experiences of love and provide a dark control over individuals or the masses through fear and control.

The one thing with three brothers was that their teens were given the charge to protect Love upon their future families. They were regal and followed a love line which stemmed back to Christ. They each were in their 20’s when Archangel Gabriel announced to them that they would be blessed with a set of rare children who were deemed to be the first to anchor the higher dimensions energy upon the lower planes of the planet earth. This would help restore the planet into the higher ranges of Love as required by the Creator. Michael Bauer had refuted anything that got in his way, but all parents equally shared their own secrets.  

The Peugeot blue and gray car sped at full speed down the freeway when he received an urgent message “Dammit” he double glanced across to the in-built car messaging service, he double glanced upon his screen to see an urgent message from Daniel Connors. “Shit” he cried and banged the steering wheel in frustration. Driving to the north Grandville location he pulled in half an hour later. The large security gates closed in behind him, as he pulled up into a spare parking spot.

Opening his car door, he walked around to his boot of his car and pulled out a suit case and a gun. He looked around cautiously and placed it into his back pants. Carrying the silver security case, he walked up the stairs into the second floor. He knocked on the door and walked into Daniel’s office.
“You did it, you actually went ahead and performed the duty?” he spat out perplexed. He looked across to Sean Deluka and questioned him equally “ Did you know about this?”

“You know this had to be done” Sean replied adamantly back at Bauer. Daniel handed him a glass of Whiskey “I think you are ready for this” Daniel responded and stood up to form a triangle with the other two fathers.
“Let’s give you the head’s up, she has been taken in?” Sean added towards Bauer. “A choice had  to made Michael, it was now or never, I had to do it for her sake and you know you will have to do the same with your kids. “ Daniel defended his corner.

Michael sighed and took a sip from his drink and glaring over the rim of the glass towards them. “So what did you do exactly to get the sample?
“We believe Cress intervened first and done their part by taking her to the cells, and then the sample was taken” he concluded as he sipped back the brandy in his hand.
“Are you sure this will work?” Sean questioned concerned.
“Well I’m not too sure?” Michael responded. “My concern is that if DNA gets into the wrong hands, then what then? “
“Nobody can get into or knows about the vaults underneath the facility, the pods are safe.” Daniel defended.  “Matthew and Casey already know, they came running at me before I could even open the front door. I reassured them and told them, they knew enough for the time being and that Scott and Amanda where being taken to some where safe and being looked after, you have nothing to worry about.” Daniel reassured them both.
“Matthew will intervene for the truth at all costs, Daniel, “ Sean added to the conversation. “He will defend Casey at all costs and has already asked how to kill the demon.”

“We agreed to take a sample from each of them to help develop the pods” Daniel still held his case defiantly and placed his glass on his nearby desk. Returning to his desk he sat down and beckoned the others to pull two chairs up opposite. He sat forward and held his hands into a triangle as to admit authority in the situation.
“I admit, we can’t afford another mishap, but it’s a chance we have to take, for the sake of our children” Sean added sitting down.

Michael sighed and leaned forward “Do you know what you are dealing with here Daniel? You operate undercover within an organisation who is hell bent on obtaining and possible killing our children. The way they work is dark and out of limits for even you.”
Michael reflected upon his dealings with Daniel in the past, Daniel was on the other side of the banter, although they were best friends, both held different views upon how to deal with protection of their family.
“Daniel, he is right, we are a team and you can’t just go it alone with this, your making a mistake, if this got out into the open.. “ Sean stood up, “I know you have the expertise in this, but there must be some other way of doing this”

“I’m not so sure, what could you recommend?” he snarked back at both of them defiantly, he stood up to raise his case. “Another glass?” he smiled and poured himself another glass of whiskey from the canister.
Michael stood up and looked out of the window. “Do C.R.E.S.S know about your daughter and why she was brought in?” he asked peeking and checking outside. “I mean, does she know who has been watching her and do you?” Michael glanced over his shoulder at Mr. Connors before returning to his seat.
“I have every detail of the report and I know they have their suspicions, but as it turns out, Archangel Michael stepped in and helped protect her with thanks, and she never breathed a word at all costs. I trust her” he took another sip from his glass.
“Relax, it’s okay,”

Michael was really on edged and nerves felt shaken after what he had heard so far. “So weather permits, you will allow this next stage to develop?” he queried cautiously.
"We can't yet," Sean interrupted "you will have to allow some time for CRESS to back off and find out what they are wanting, by rights they will be looking into her history, and so how do you gage deleting this information about her, they have it right there, you ordered them, they surely know who she is?" Sean made his mark on the subject.
"All hands on deck, I suspect that they asked all the questions and they injected, end of the day, you ordered her to be taken in," Michael added with suspicions.
Michael paced up and down "what do you think we should do?"

Amanda dozily started to come around, if that what drugged up felt like, it felt like she had enough to last her a month. Dizzily hearing her dad’s voice and Scott’s voice was enough to know Michael had indeed kept her safe, reassured by her family  voices, she just wanted to go home safe. Questions began firing all at once, but dizziness from her mind made her feel sick in her stomach. She still had to find the stamina to get to her feet.
What secret” she turned to look surprised towards Scott and her dad. “what did I miss?” Too curious for words Amanda could easily land herself into trouble.
“Now is not the time to ask questions, you can ask them later” her dad responded to her. Throwing a set of car keys to Scott and a business card and providing directives. Scott took the lead  and helped Amanda out into awaiting blue BMW.
Cautiously, looking around he helped get Amanda into the front seat and fastening her seat. Amanda was quite awakened to watching every move from Scott as he jumped into the car and ignited the ignition and pressing his foot on the accellorator.
“We are all set to go?” he reassured her and smiled at her with his keen eye. Driving forward for around twenty minutes, Amana was feeling like the urge to fall asleep, but she provided comfort knowing Scott was right by her side.
The security gates to her father’s house opened to let them in, with the recognition of her father’s business car. Scott opened her side door and unleashed the belt from across her chest. He pulled her up and placed his arm across her waist and held her. She placed one one arm around him for support. Amanda had never been to her father’s house and it was something profound to be able to do such a thing, as he had often kept his work most secret.
Closing and locking the car door took a second or so and they both managed to open the side door to the office.
Amanda felt reassured that Archangel Michael once again had kept his word and had helped her throughout the time in Cress.
Scott opened the door to the office with a sigh of relief and closed the wooden blinds for privacy. “Asking if her if how she was feeling” she nodded and sat up more awakened to her surroundings.
Intrigued by what had happened, she smiled at Scott and held his arms. “Thanks, I love you”
“I just wondered how you got to know where I was” she asked looking at him with a smile. “you know I have my questions” she responded.
She rested her head upon his chest. “So what’s the secret?” she asked again towards him. Chuckling to bring her to her senses.
Scott remained calm and held her tight. “I love you, and you just have to trust me, that now is not a good time to ask and besides you have  rest” he held her face in the palm of his hands. He pulled her into him and kissed her deeply, his taste was so blissful and loving, that he melted all her worries away and she sat there in awe of him. His lips were so tender she could kiss her gently all night and she would never flinch one bit. Lips had parted but eyes were connected as they both stared into each other’s souls. Their love could last between them forever.
Moments later, the door opened and Mr. Connors walked in a cool manner and helped himself to a whisky. He took his jacket off and hung it over his chair. Smiling at both of them and looked at Amanda with concern.
“You want to go home” he read her contently, looking at them both he took a sip from his glass and made another two juices for the pair.  
Sitting down opposite his daughter and boyfriend, “Question time” he settled in for the round of looking for answers. “Wow slow down Amanda, you’ll burn yourself out quickly if you carry”
“Her father looked cool and collective and provided a firm sense of security in the first instance. “What did you show him, what am I missing?” she questioned.
“what do you mean you can’t tell me but you can tell Scott?” she grumbled, but her father carried on to hear her dispute.
“I know I am different,” she digested and gulped thinking about what Michael had told her that day. Amanda’s head was swimming with information which made no sense. To Amanda’s surprise there had always been a secret about her father’s work and here she was sat in that very office that used to be forbidden. Now she sat listening to him explaining all about this secret organisation called Cress, sounded freaky if she was honest but intriguing to say the least.  Was she hearing right and hearing how her father was part defending them and her as well, he was explaining the whole story about being on the inside and how he had to protect his family. She felt strange listening to him, that it almost sounded like he was against her. She sat closer to Scott who felt her beginning to feel on edge.
“So you’re working undercover, does mom even know?” a stare from her dad put that answer right into place and Amanda asked no more.
Becoming more awakened to her environment and her surroundings, She felt still bewildered to say the least, however,  she drank back the last part of her juice and placed the glass down on the table opposite them. She held onto her lovers hand and he grasped it tight.
Her dad was right, she needed more rest and he had spilled out a lot of information that had to remain quiet.  Scott stood up first  and pulled up to Amanda looking at her dad directly she gave him a hug. “My lips are zip” she encouraged him.
“I’m going” she placed her hands up in defence and turned to walk towards the door.
“Come on lets’ get you home”
Closing the door to the office behind them, she stared at Scott as they walked down the stairs and out into the carpark.
Arriving at Amanda’s home, she opened  the side door and walked into the hallway. “Welcome home to my home, I don’t think you’ve been here yet, so make it like your’re own” she announced feeling a bit cheerful.  “Can we just lock the door, just in case” she asked him with an apprehensive stare.
“Sure we can “ he responded actioning her request. The hallway was a light pale blue and grey with a dado rail surrounding it.
“So would you like a drink? Coffee, lemonade, dr pepper, orange juice.” She opened up her double fronted fridge and pulled out the orange, pouring two glasses out, she glanced across towards him looking at the family photos.
“Sure orange will be just fine” he answered providing her with a grin. “naaah, you don’t want to look at those,” she blushed again as he pointed the finger up at the top one and smiled. “Why not, this one is just cute” he chuckled as she walked towards him with his fresh juice.
The photo provided him with evidence of her childhood which incorporated a five year old child wearing blue dungarees and a hand on her hip. “what’s with the hip” he laughed again. “You are too funny Scott Evans, do you know that” she dug at him in the ribs. “She’s cute”
“So a tour of the house, my dad’s office, the lounge, the conservatory, the stars and bathroom to the left, mom and dad’s room, Ben’s old room but now guest room, and I guess this is mine” she smiled opening her room door to a spacious room with a queen bed by the left with an en-suite. The walls were pale pink and cream with a raspberry overtone decorated walls.
Tiredly, she lay on the bed, and let out a sigh. Scott looked concerned and lay next to her.
“Can I lye on your chest”
“no need to ask my lovely” he beckoned her to him  and she lay flat out upon him, he smelt gorgeous and his looks matched his sexiness.
He looked down at her and she looked back up at him. “Scott thanks” I must say thanks to Archangel Michael too” she looked up and saw a bright flash of royal blue by the wardrobe and she smiled.
“Wow you did see that too right” Scott looked amazed.
“Scott what is this secret, what happened to you when we were out?” how did you find me.
He kissed her on the mouth tenderly sending her into bliss and she closed her eyes and sank into “I love you” she told him.
“Do you know what Michael told me” she pulled away and leaned up to face him.  “If these people found out that we were angels, they would kill us, does dad know about this?” she questioned him once more.
“The man he tried to scan me and read me, only healers know how to do that stuff but he was trying on a different level, he tried to tell me lies about you and told me that you were trying to outsmart me, and that you had some private history of your own to share, is this true”
“I don’t know why I am questioning you on this” she sat up with a serious over tone and a look of concern on her face. “We’re in serious trouble, they had a photo taken of you, it was a couple days ago” she explained
“Why didn’t you tell me you took photos” she chuckled trying to lighten up.
“What does my father know about us, is there something I should know?”

It was like the answer was never going to arrive from Scott's mouth, maybe it was not meant to be.
Just as he was about to respond with a sigh of relief, Amanda jumped at the movement from downstairs. "The front door was locked" she looked puzzled at Scott.
Next few moments both Scott and Amanda had their eyes peeled anxiously as the steps coming up the stairs were frantically rushing upwards towards their door.

"Jesus, Amanda" Casey launched through the door and stared at Amanda and Scott as they laid upon her bed. Amanda watched as Casey cried for the Lord as both of them jumped up in shock. "How did you all get in the door was locked" Scott questioned reassuring Amanda.
"We thought something was seriously wrong and yet your here snuggled up, you could have told us"
"Jesus Amanda" Casey gave a sigh making them both jump "We thought something was seriously wrong and yet your here snuggled up, you could have told us"
"I'm sorry we just got back, got loads to tell you, you all better take a seat"
Amanda smiled at everyone and hugged Casey.
"Where do you want us to start?"
"I don't know how they knew but for some reason, there are people in power that don't want us being together, not demons, this was real people." Scott introduced first to help Amanda out.
"I was at Scott's when I was snatched" Amanda was careful of how to describe the situation, as she didn't want it all to go out of hand, especially with what her dad had told he

"How did they get you out?" Matt questioned "Scott, Scott got dad and he was there, I don't know you have to ask Scott that" he smiled "he was my hero" she smiled and cuddled him.
"So where did you go" Brendan questioned looking towards both of them.
"I don't know some where secret, but I'm not sure how Scott and dad found the place" she carried on "They knew and had been tracking us somehow, see the photo of Scott the guard or whoever he was, he threw a photo of him, like he was being watched or something, said I was telling him lies about my identity. Just before you came in, I was telling Scott, how one man was trying to delve deeper and read me like a scan like a healer, but something more in depth"
"Slow down, Amanda" Casey looked startled.
"Scott can tell you more, I'm sure" she looked to him to help her out.

Going over to her boyfriend Matt’s house Casey had butterflies, she always did every time she saw him or knew she was going to be seeing him. Ever since they had got together she had found it hard to think straight, he was her every thought, even with everything going on with the angels and demons she knew having him by her side she couldn’t fail. Walking closer to his house she saw him stood on the balcony a cig in his hand, Casey hated him smoking but she would cut him some slack seeing as everything else was going on. Hearing her approach he looked down and smiled “I couldn’t be without you” she blushed and he gave another smile “So you’ve started up again?” she nodded to the cig in his hand that he proceeded to throw over the neighbours fence “No evidence here” he smirked and they climbed the window back into his bedroom

They chatted about the days gone by and how crazy they had been, Matt proceeded to pop some gum in his mouth to rid him of the cigarette smell and taste that was lingering “I love you, always will do forever” he always had a way to make her go weak at the knees as he walked towards her and kissed her softly, she wrapped her arms around him, he always made her feel so safe and secure “I love you more” he shuck his head in disagreement and she nodded hers “No, I love you more” they kissed again smiling.

“So what do you think we should do? It’s a bit of a weird one for me, Do you ever feel like you are going mad? What with people talking to you in your head, is that normal?” Matt asked her “I don’t know Matt, I mean Amanda and I have been hearing voices...angels in our heads for a few months now so it’s becoming a bit of the norm for us but honestly I don’t know what to think or say anymore about it all, when they first started talking to us it seemed crazy, I felt I was going mad but now with everything that is happening, the angels talking in our heads is pretty plausable” Casey ran her hand up his arm and griped hold of his bicep tight, she loved his strong arms.

“Hey, check this, I spoke to dad about things earlier” Matt removed his t-shirt to reveal a bare chest and Casey lent back on the bed and watched him, the usual sensations stirring as she watched the man she loved as he grabbed a fresh t-shirt and put it on “So, what did he say?” she asked him “I asked if he believed in fairies” Casey had to laugh at the thought of Sean Deluka looking at his son questioning his fairy beliefs “And what did he say to that?” she smiled and watched him mimic his father “Son, that’s a question for your mother” Both of them started giggling. “Do that again” Casey asked sniggering as Matt picked up her favourite fragrance Paco Rabane and proceeded to spray some on his neck, Casey walked over to him “Mmmmmm you know what that does to me” she looked at him and bit her lip “That’s why I put it on” he winked and Casey wrapped her arms around his neck smelling the beautiful scent and kissing his pouting lips. When they parted Matt starred into her eyes “I thought we could go out for a bit” Casey felt her nerves kick in a little, it was one thing being in his room, safe and together but the thought of going out where the demon could attack made her a little dubious “Are we going to be safe?” she asked as they made their way down the stairs “Security is mine” he held her hand tight as they left the house and headed towards the car. Getting in and putting on their belts, Matt turned the ignition and 30 seconds to mars blasted out the speakers, Matt’s phone made a sound and Casey picked it up seeing a text from Scott “Scott” she passed the phone to him and watched as he opened and read the text “It’s Amanda, she’s been taken” Casey’s heart sank “What, who the demon where?” she felt sick to her stomach, Matt placed his hand on hers “Casey, it’s going to be Okay, I promise you” he sped off down the street in the direction of Amanda’s home. Casey checked her phone to see if anyone had text her and sent a quick text to Keeley to tell her what was going on then she quickly dialed Amanda’s number and got her voicemail “Matt what if she’s hurt” she called Scott and got no answer “Do you think they are together, Matt I can’t handle this I mean what if...” Matt cut her off “Just calm down Casey, your starting to sound like Amanda with your questions it’s going to be alright”.

They arrived at Amanda’s home and ran up the drive before pounding on the door “What do you think is going on?” Casey asked as Matt held her hand even tighter and Daniel Connors opened the door. After several minutes of questions firing back and forth from both parties Daniel managed to persuade the love struck teens that Amanda was Okay, he wouldn’t lie about it would he? He was in a hurry to leave the house and left Matt and Casey on the doorstep still non the wiser as to what happened.

“I don’t like this Matt, why won’t he tell us anything? If she is safe with Scott then why hasn’t he told us or either of them contacted us?” everything was running through her mind “Do you think we should trust him?” she asked Matt, he was standing looking after Daniel driving away “I don’t know, I mean why would he lie? We both know how much he loves Amanda” they walked back to the car and got in “So what now?” Matt asked “I think we should go get your sister and Brendan, maybe they have heard from them” as they began to drive Casey’s head was racing with worry about what had happened, Matt pulled the car over “Come on baby, it’s going to be Okay” he touched her face and lent forward kissing her softly, pulling back they looked at one another and Casey needed her man, he was the one thing that could heal her mind and mend her heart and soul, she undid her seatbelt and climbed onto his lap kissing him passionately his hands ran up the back of her top touching her bare skin and making her instantly hot “Matt” Casey whispered as they both suddenly jumped out their skin when someone pounded on the window “Jesus” Matt shouted as his sister and Brendan stood outside with smirks on their faces. Casey wound the window down “You know you could get arrested for that” Keeley laughed “Eat me” Matt remarked back “I think Casey was just about to” Keeley chuckled and Brendan followed suit “We were just on our way to see you guys” Casey said climbing off Matt and back into her seat, Keeley and Brendan climbed in the back of the car “We got your message about Amanda, can’t be that serious if you guys are at the front doing that” Keeley lit a cigarette “Not in the car sis” Matt gave her a white eyed look from the front and she rolled her eyes “Hypocrite” Casey let the siblings banter, she knew better than to get in the middle of them “We went to see Daniel, he said that she was fine and not to worry but something doesn’t seem right” Brendan piped up "I don't trust him, there's just something about him".

Deciding to go back to the Connors residence and wait for Amanda and Scott the 4 teens sat in Matt's car and noticed another car in the driveway "Maybe they are back already" they all got out and headed up to the house, knocking on the door they got no answer "Try the door" Casey said to Matt, pushing the handle down he found it to be locked, reaching into his pocket he pulled out a lock pick kit much to Casey's surprise "What? thought it might come in handy one day" Casey laughed as he set to work on the lock and the four of them entered the house "Hello.......Amanda" hearing a noise upstairs the teens took to the stairs and found Amanda and Scott on Amanda's bed cuddled up "Jesus Amanda" Casey gave a sigh making them both jump "We thought something was seriously wrong and yet your here snuggled up, you could have told us" Amanda climbed off the bed and hugged Casey "I'm sorry we just got back, got loads to tell you, you all better take a seat" the teens all sat around in Amanda's room whilst she explained what had happened and what they had seen.

After the ordeal with Amanda being taken and the revelations from Daniel about the doople-gangers Scott was glad to get Amanda alone for a bit, after she had showed him around her home they ended up in her bedroom and she asked if she could lay on his chest, he thought she was so cute the way she was sometimes still so nervous around him and at other times so confident, he loved everything that she did, she was his muse, his world, his everything. Laying on the bed he motioned for her to join him and she quickly climbed up on the bed and snuggled up into him, her head fell softly on his chest and he placed his arm lovingly around her and pulled her closer. They both let out a small sigh and lay in silence for a few moments he kissed her on the top of the head and lifted up her t-shirt rubbing the small of her back. Her skin was so soft and smooth, he adored touching her and would do so at any given opportunity, she smelt divine and he could feel a warm flowing through his heart, this girl was his world, she meant everything to him and he couldn’t imagine his life without her.

“You Okay?” he asked her kissing the top of her head again, she looked up at him “I am now” he smiled and lent forward kissing her lips gently, his hand still firmly on her back as his other hand cupped at her face whilst they kissed. Pulling away and opening his eyes she was smiling up at him and he smiled back “You are beautiful you know” she blushed “So are you, I mean handsome, your handsome” she blushed again as he kissed her more forcefully this time his tongue slipping through her parted lips and met hers. Kissing for a few moments they were lost in their own little bubble of love, when they were together nothing else mattered but the two of them.
“I love you” she whispered “I love you too Amanda, more than I can ever put into words”.

So now well I’ve been there, done that and I know what I need to say and not to say nowadays, if they want to take me they will be taking the wrong person because I wrote the rule book on this” Amanda rubbed his arm reassuringly “You know me, the real me but I know to protect myself, to protect us that I have to be someone else” Amanda nodded, she understood where he was coming from “I wouldn’t say your father is hiding anything, maybe protecting but not hiding to be malicious or anything, your his world, why do you think he came to get you” Scott began as the door opened making them both jump and Casey, Matt, Keeley and his brother entered the room.

Looking around at all the faces waiting for an explanation Scott wasn’t sure where to start, he was a chilled out kind of guy but at this moment in time he felt a small amount of pressure telling the others what he had witnessed, he didn't know much more himself than what he had seen seeing as Daniel was yet to give an explanation as to why there dopple-gangers were being hidden away in a secure location.

"Amanda was taken, they came round to my house asking for me then when we tried to leave out the back they grabbed us, I don't know why they took Amanda and left me but I panicked, I text you guys then went to see Daniel, he knew where Amanda was because he worked at the very same place" Scott heard a multitude of gasps including his girlfriend Amanda "What, my dad I don't understand?" Amanda turned a little pale "I don't know the full story, all I know is that he works there to protect us all, this secret society is intent on getting to us, to all of us but Daniel is there to keep anything from happening to us" he nodded to Amanda to reassure her that her father wasn't the bad guy here "Now what I am going to tell you next will raise a lot of questions, questions that I don't have answers for because I honestly don't know myself but Daniel showed me something that makes this whole saga take a new turn" the others awaited eagerly "He took me to a secret location within the compounds of the building and there were these pods there" Matt laughed "Pods, you mean like space pods? What was he keeping in them, aliens" he chuckled and the others laughed too "He was keeping us in there" confusion spread through the room "Not us but our doubles if you like" Amanda shuck her head "What are you saying Scott, that we have dopple-gangers and my dad is holding them hostage?" Scott shrugged his shoulders "We need to ask your father, all I know is that I saw them, this is real and it's bigger than any of us could ever imagine, we need answers even if I'm not sure we will like what we are told" Scott gave a small sigh and tried to read his friends expressions, one thing for sure was that they were all thinking the same thing and at that moment Scott knew whatever they were up against they would win.

Matt smiled cautiously triumphantly with a sigh of relief. He shrugged his shoulders as he pushed the door open with a steady hand he removed his key adapter from the front door. "See that was easy" he grinned and walked in to Amanda's home.  "Right, lets hit the stairs to Amanda's room and see if she's in there" Casey tossed her voice to the others and marched up the stairs, with the others following suit. Even though any one of the Connors could have been home besides Amanda, she was seen as the main suspect who could have been home with Scott.

Casey opened the doorway into Amanda's bedroom, everyone jumped as Casey saw Amanda and Scott lay on the bed fully clothed but cuddling up to each other. "Casey, matt" Scott called as he shot up and Matt grinned "I told you they would be home and okay" he launched into the room and sat at the end of the bed and Casey sat on the opposite side.
Amanda invited them in and told them all to take a seat where they could find and she tried to rely her side of the story as to what happened to her that given day.
Matt relaxed as he listened contently to what Scott had explained and Matt pulled Casey close to mirror Scott and Amanda hugging.
Sighing with relief and looking at Amanda, she was safe and that was the main thing.
"So we got a demon after us all and now we got more new people apparently in power in a secret cell, kidnapping us for what?"
"A secret society after everything has happened all this week and I can only just say this has only just started since the Evans have arrived, so what do you know about this?" Matt questioned light heartedly and in fun.
He listened actively towards every thing Amanda and Scott had imparted towards the group and the full story of what had happened that day.
The kidnapping, Archangel Michael help and protection, the interrogation and now the enlightened moment of being told they had pods with dopplegangers in a place called Cress.
Matt began to feel blown away at what they had both been through. He wiped his brow with the his hand and then brushed his hair aside and looked towards Casey to reassure her. "Sounds great" he scoffed "but I 'm glad you are both safe"
"Woah, Amanda slow down" Casey felt overwhelmed at what she had said. As more information was expressed, the teens began to feel overwhelmed and Matt became frustrated again.
Scott had now taken over from Amanda and Matt had become aware that a man to man chat should surface to see what else Scott knew.
He began to chuckle as he heard how they had found out how her daddy Connors swore he was working for the enemy. "Why does that not surprise me " Brendan chipped in from the outset. "Does that mean that he's a demon" Keeley laughed at the backdrop of Brendan's comment. Realised Amanda wasn't impressed "Sorry, but you can't help but laugh" she apologised and looked at Brendan.
"Pods, you mean space pods" Amanda chirped in surprise. "You mean the ones' where they keep space aliens in after they capture them" She splurted at Scott.
"No, they keep copies of us in them, not us but our doubles" he explained.
"So Scott, do you think?" Matt questioned him but Scott didn't answer straight away, Matt observed silently like he had other things on his mind or he was harbouring details.
"Well you know what we think? we think that we should all go back to where you came from in this secret compound, and find these pods. "
Scott looked a bit miffed, "It's hard to say, this compound is out in the outskirts of town, and is kept well secret, no body knows what really goes on in there except that it's known for storing chemicals."
"So we need to question Daniel Connors and see if we can gain any further information" Matt answered him and then stared to Amanda.
"Well I don't even think mom knows about this stuff, I 'd have to ask him when she 's not around" she answered with uncertainly as she looked back to matt.
"Right well we'll have to keep this one quiet, " Matt responded. "It is all or nothing, we have to watch peoples backs, our backs, are you all in"Scott Questioned the group as he took equal leadership of the group.
"You guys better head back before the folks return, they just sent a message that they are a few blocks away, look I don't even think my mom knows what's happened, so I even can't say a word to her" Amanda added on as she stood up and stretched.
"Well looks like your dad has the upper hand and that's not a good start" Keeley was honest and said her peace.
Scott reassured her by looking on in concern and rubbing her back as she sat back down on her bed.
"Wait" Brendan interrupted the group, he was wise and said little words until they were needed and he seemed concerned that they had missed out an important point.
"Is there some thing your missing out here, well, we were told we were Angels to the authorities and they see we can't rule their roost, whilst they are in power. " Brendan pulled out a set of house keys and threw them to his brother.
"What do you mean by that?" Matt asked.
"Well since we are angels what do they do with demons?, they will treat us like aliens and want to stop whatever God has planned for us here on earth"
"Or at least try" Matt returned
"Bro, we'll be back late tonight, we'll do our own research and let you guys know what we come up with" Brendan smiled at Amanda and his bro and left hand in hand with Keeley hugging everyone upon department.
"Right, so we ARE onto something, I have a few things up sleeve " Matt broke the arwardness and looked to Scott as if to say "Why the quick exist"
Waiting for the door to close, Matt turned to his friend and asked if there was anything more that they should know"
"well I'm sure this demon that came out after Casey, could have been one of the officers in spirit." she added unwittingly. "I mean it makes sense, does it not"she cautiously questioned as though the look on their faces were enough.
"Carry on" Casey nodded as she repositioned herself on to the bean bag on the floor.
"Well it the fight against love.. dark v light, so say Brendan has a point, so what better play but to fight us through fear"
"Dad, did tell me one thing.. he said you had to be really strong and enough to protect yourself.
"Did he how" Casey added curiously as Scott equally raised his eyebrow.
"Archangel Michael was the best way, "
"Well he got me out of Cress in one piece"Amanda added to his defence.
"Well, we can't do that right now"Matt denied due to his previous intervention with Archangel Michael.
"Why not, he helped to save me" Amanda defended again.
"Because, we can't use any weapons, it's forbidden he says"Matt retaliated back.
Scott laughed at all three of them.."Hey, nice and easy " he helped keep everyone cool and he was very much the diplomatic person in a lot of ways.
However, Matt felt obliged to talk, "He told me so under strict instructions, but that is why he is wrong, we have to protect ourselves"
"But lets' not jump the gun here" Casey added towards Matt and tried to keep him level headed. "This may be your head talking and not your heart"
Matt stared towards Casey "Whaaat"?
"Look, do we kill this son of a bitch or what" Matt stood his ground. "Who is next and what will happen, we don't know" Matt defended his decision.
"Kill he will " a voice boomed in all four heads as loud as day.
"This is not a game nor a fairy tale" it finished and all of them sat in silence.
"This is real life" Scott finished the sentence before any more could be said.
"Little or no harm will come to you my friends, if you relax in me"
"Who is this?" all four shouted out

"Put your gun away matthew, for you are safe, with this wing, I will wipe your fears away. " In a flash, his fear was gne and he stood in awe of what had just happened.
"Look, little did you know that you have all your own legions of warrior soilders are there at your submission, now is not the time to retaliate, rest and slow down a lot has happened this week, that you have yet to take in, put forth your time to strengthen your young bodies stay in love, let it be your fortitude.
With that the message as a high pitched frequency in their left ears finished.
"Okay, so I never knew you had a gun" Amanda looked upon Matt with interest, but lets leave it at that shall we. We can meet up at Grandville views for four pm tomorrow and at class, I guess we will have to go about like nothing ever happened. " Amanda yawned and kissed Scott on the cheek.
"Dad's almost here with mom, he's home for tea tonight, thanks to Archangel Jophiel for your message and for Archangel Michael too.
"Scott are you staying for some food?" she chirped hoping he would say yes.
Matt felt perplexed and alarmed and he just wanted to throw cold water over his face and to look to Casey for an answer.
"I'm sorry this is awe inspiring but is this all happening" CAsey reassured him. "I'm not so sure on that Case" he responded.
"Well I'm sorry you had to go through your ordeal, but I'm glad you are both safe too," Casey hugged her best friend.
Scott stood up to take some time out with Matt, and left the girls to chat for a while too.
"Scott can we have a talk outside?" Matt asked him sincerely and they walked out through the front door onto the lawn. "Man to Man, what do you make of all this?" "Is there anything we should know, are we really in any danger?" Matt questioned his friend for some male bonding.
Scott spotted the other Connors car riding in and pulled Matt into some nearby bushes" shhh, lets see what they say if any and then I'll answer your questions" he smiled.

Stepping outside with his friend Matt, Scott had a feeling where the conversation would be going and when his buddy asked him what he thought about all of what was going on, he was completely honest and said he didn’t really know what to make of any of it. Dopple-gangers, kidnapping, Angels, Demons, it was all a little out there even though Scott was very much a think outside of the box sort of person.

“I don’t know Matt I think I’m probably on the same wavelength as everyone else. I think it’s all just a bit overwhelming would be the word, all I know is that I will save and look after Amanda with every fiber of my being, as I know you would with Casey and my brother would with Keeley" Scott spoke and Matt nodded in agreement "It's weird, I know I haven't been in Amanda's life long but I feel as though I have been for years if that makes sense? I would do anything for that girl, anything and the thought of a scumbag demon wanting to get it's hands on her" Scott paused "It makes me so angry Matt, I am not the type of person to get angry, you know that but I can't describe the lengths I would go to protect her".

Hearing a car coming Scott and Matt looked down the road to see the Connors car making its way down the street, grabbing Matt he pulled him to one side “Let’s see what they have to say for themselves” Scott spoke in a hushed tone as the car ground to a halt in the driveway and Daniel, his wife Libby and Michael Bauer got out of the car.

“So you are saying that they don’t know the full story yet?” Michael asked Daniel, they lingered outside momentarily “They don’t need to know everything yet Michael, it’ll only get them into trouble” Scott and Matt looked at one another and continued to listen “So, Scott saw the pods? What did he make of them?” Libby piped up “Not much, to be honest everything happened in such a blur that I never really got a chance to ask him. He’s a smart kid, I have no doubt that he will come to me in time or they all will and ask to see the pods, I just think right now it is too dangerous for all concerned, I just want to keep them all safe” Daniel began to slowly walk towards the front door “Don’t we all” Michael replied “My Casey was attacked by this thing, that’s the last mistake it will ever make” Daniel removed his keys from his back pocket and they all entered the house, closing the door behind them Scott noticed Daniel had dropped something on the floor that, he looked to Matt to see if he had spotted it but he was too busy looking elsewhere. Scott took his phone out of his pocket and quickly text Amanda ‘Your parents are home, they were talking about the pods, try and get out the house without being spotted, meet you round the back’ “Come on Matt let’s go” Matt looked confused “Where?” he asked "We need answers" Matt followed Scott keeping a low profile as they went by the front door to the back of the residence and waited for the others to make their way out and join them.

Once the others were outside the 6 teens headed towards Cookies Cavern where they could talk in private and plan their next move.

“Are you Okay?” Scott placed his hand on Amanda’s arm as they sat at a booth “I don’t know Scott, yesterday my life was not normal but not so crazy and today....I just don’t know what to think anymore, I feel like we are all going mad” Scott turned her face to face him “Listen to me, we are in this together, whatever happens to you I feel” he placed her hand on his heart “Whatever you do I am right here, we will get through this together Okay?” she gave a small nod and smiled, Scott leaned in and kissed her gently on the lips, brushing her hair back away from her face and resting his hand on the back of her neck to hold her steady as their kiss intensified “AHEM!!!” Matt broke their silence as he joined them in the booth followed by Casey, Keeley and Brendan “What did you swipe from off the floor earlier” Matt asked, Amanda looked at him as did everyone else, Scott dug into his pocket and produced a card “ID card, your dad’s, he dropped it on the floor when he went in to the house" Matt gave a smile "You know what that means? We have to check out them pods" Scott nodded in agreement.

"I don't know if that's such a good idea, I mean we only just got out of their alive" Amanda spoke, she placed her arm on to Scott's and sounded concerned "That's why I don't want you going, they have seen your face, I don't want you to get hurt" Amanda began to protest "Me, Matt and Brendan will go and check it out" he continued as Casey cut him off "Hell no, I want to see these pods, if their are carbon copies of us out there then I want to see them" Casey was adamant "It's too dangerous" Matt spoke to Casey "Yes so that means your not going without us" she returned "I second that" Keeley joined "That makes 3 of us, dangerous or not if your going then we are coming to, we have to stick together, don't you think that is what the demon wants? It's trying to separate us and if it does then it can attack, we are stronger in numbers" Amanda said getting nods of agreement from the girls "I think Amanda is right" Brendan spoke up taking them all by surprise, he was the quiet observer of the group and would very rarely agree with Amanda on anything, he had his own opinions and other than Keeley he never really was concerned about others opinions. Scott gave a sigh "Fine....Okay we will all go but let's give it a few hours and plan what we are doing, we can't just wander in" the rest of the gang agreed "I say let's sort it out over food, I am starving" Matt piped up, this was a decision that everyone was on board with.

"How you doing" Scott asked Amanda an hour later as they left Cookies Cavern to get some fresh air and time alone, they had all decided that Matt would be the one to enter the building through the front using Daniel's ID card and he would make his way to Daniel's office via Scott's instructions, there he would let the others in through the doors that were adjacent to the car park, they would all then head down to the Pods and try to get some answers. "I'm a bit nervous, I mean it's my dad and I feel that I am betraying his trust" Amanda half sighed "You don't have to do this, you can still back out" Amanda shuck her head "No, if any of us get caught then we are all going down together, I am not staying at home whilst you all go, I need answers too, Casey suggested we ask Archangel Michael for his advice on the matter and to protect us, so we are going to give that a go soon".

Taking her by the hand Scott pulled her into him and looked her in the eyes "When this is all over and things have settled down I think we should take a trip somewhere" Amanda giggled "Where?" Scott smiled "I don't know, anywhere but here, we could just get in the car and go wherever you want, Roswell?" he joked "I think I've had more than enough of weird stuff going on, as much as I'd love to go to Roswell maybe just this time we could go somewhere where we can relax and just be together" Scott nodded and pulled her right into him "We can go anywhere you want, I just want to be with you whether that's here, Roswell, The moon I don't care as long as we are together" he kissed he softly "We need time just the two of us, I know it's a tough time and sticking together is a must but I really can't wait to get you alone" Amanda blushed "Any reason in particular Mr Evans?" he smirked "I just miss you that's all and if I get a little something something too well that's all good" he wiggled his eyebrows and Amanda chuckled "I love your laugh, I miss it and your smile....your so beautiful" he kissed her again and held her close to his heart where she belonged "Come on, let's get this over with" he hugged her as the rest of the gang came out the diner to join them.

Half an hour later they were outside the complex where Daniel Connors worked and ready to find out more about C.R.E.S.S Scott had to admit that even he was nervous as they made their way to the back and Matt proceeded to the front of the building, it was dark and the car parks were almost empty, Scott wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not, maybe going in when it was busy may have made Matt less noticeable but then going in when it was quiet perhaps he could get by without being spotted. The wait for Matt was one of the worst Scott had ever felt, they were all so anxious especially Casey who after 15 minutes was completely freaking out. "Why is he not out yet?" Casey was pacing "He will be here soon Case just relax" Amanda was trying to calm her down "I have alsorts going through my head Mandy I can't even think straight, what if he's been caught, what if he's been hurt....OH GOD what if they never let him out" just as Casey finished speaking the doors open and a beaming Matt stood before them looking so proud with himself "Miss me" he said as Casey flung herself at him and held on for dear life "I'm Okay baby" he held her close and kissed her head "Come on, we don't know how much time we have" Scott said as they all entered the small corridor that lead to Daniel's office and Scott proceeded to show them the way to the basement where the pods were "Is it me or is it surprisingly quiet?" Keeley asked and she was right, it was a little bit eerie for their liking. Using Daniel's pass they walked through the door and down a steel staircase, they all stopped at the bottom of the stairs and gasped as they saw the 6 pods that were laid out before them.

All in unison they stepped forward to take a closer look at themselves "Is anyone else officially freaked out" Keeley asked "Aha" Casey replied "Stand by your doubles" Matt tried to make a joke as they all found their selves and had a closer look, Scott couldn't believe how alike they were as he observed. They were all so engrossed in looking at themselves they didn't notice that someone had entered the room Brendan was the first to spot him as he alerted the others they were not alone. Before they could move the man held his hands up and somehow trapped them all in a weird energy vice grip "What the hell is going on?" Matt shouted "How are you doing this to us?" Casey screamed out, the man smiled "Tempus ad transibit" a blast of red light filled the room and Scott felt his whole body jerk, he closed his eyes to protect from the blinding light, the noise from all of his friends screaming and shouting was so audible but then followed by complete silence. Opening his eyes slowly it took Scott several seconds to find his surroundings, he began to panic when he realised that he was in one of the pods that he had just been peering into only moments before "HELP!!!!" he pounded on the glass and tried to look out to see where the others were but it was no use "SOMEBODY HELP!!!!" he shouted again using all his force to bang on the glass top of the pod. After everything he had been through these past few days, nothing could prepare him for what happened next as his dopple-ganger self, the one who only moments before he had been looking at in this very pod peered into the pod and smiled at him, a dark twisted smile it was like looking into the face of pure evil "NO" Scott screamed and his other self smirked before walking away "NO.......NNOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!" Scott kicked and hit with all his strength but it was no use, he was trapped and as he watched his friends dopple-gangers one by one walk past his pod and smile in at him he was helpless to do anything.

"Not again" screamed the real Amanda smashing what energy she could at the window of the pod. "Second time in one day, what are you trying to say to me" she screamed again at the top of her voice. "Breathe, just breath" she stopped and took a deep fresh airful of oxygen into her lungs. "Scott, Casey, Matt, Everyone?" can you hear me?" she shouted again. "Nope? anyone?" she stared out at the window of her pod. "Geese, why couldn't they put these things opposite each other" a voice could be heard in her head. "What the hell, who is that?" Amanda shouted. "It's me, who are you?" came the reply. "That's not Archangel Michael, he bellows at you, so ..."
Stilling herself into silence, she wondered what she could do to get her out of this one. "Hi Angels, we
're kinda stuck in here, just wondered if anyone was around to give me a clue how to get out of here" "LET ME OUT" she screamed again.
"There is no need to worry," a gentle voice came to her, a warm breeze wrapped around her. "Guardians, is that you" she settled and let go.
"No, need to fear, it' won't last" they responded. "It's was Scott you hear, you can hear him".
“SCOTT!!!!!! I want Scott” she panicked again. “What I have to stand up like this” she sighed. “What can I do to get out of here, meditate try and connect with Scott, I don’t know, I don’t want to get claustaphobic, say they experiment on me..ewwwww that’s just gross” she whittled.

Meanwhile,

Free at last what a wonderful feeling, the fresh air the noise of the traffic, the way of the world all that their fingertips. The six doppelgangers who had replaced the originals had escaped the originals from the pods at the bottom of Cress facility in Grandville. Each one stopped by a lay by and calculated each one's presence. "It's getting late, we should get back" Amanda answered the gang of friends as they eyed each other with their reactions. "We wouldn't want to get the rent's suspicious" answered Keeley hugging onto Brendan.
Casey, looked at Matt and questioned him “and you?” “Ah well, I’ll be getting off with you more likely”
“Sounds like a plan” Scott smirked cunningly. “I’m sure the parentals will allow you to stop by for dinner” Amanda suggested and then who knows for afters” she held on to his hand squeezing him as if to say “yes”.
The six began heading off in different directions “Do we have anything planned for tomorrow?” Brendan shouted to the group. “Look, we’ll make it back and no one will ever have known we have left the real ones inside.” Keeley linked arms with them.

With each one they teleported to where ever they would land and hoped they would get the right co-ordinates to get to their destinations-home.

Landing outside the bushes in the front garden, Scott smiled at Amanda and they instantly locked lips intensely kissing in front of the Connors house hold.
“I’ve waited sooo long to have you in my arms” Amanda added to him holding her arms” “I’ve not locked lips in almost eight years” they smiled together. The front door suddenly opened and out popped Libby Connors who opened it as they heard the voices outside. Coughing to disturb the pair, “Amanda Connors you should be inside, we had a family meal together, how could you forget?” Amanda smiled “Love, it’s okay I’m sorry, we had to nip out and well .. is it okay for Scott to stay for dinner too?” Smiling innocently “I’m sure it will be fine”
Both young adults nodded with acceptance and walked into the Connors household. The lights were brightly lit and you could hear Mr. Connors talking in mumble jumble behind his business door.
They all headed into the dining area where they found a full cooked roast dinner on display upon the table. “Take a seat, your father won’t be long” Libby suggested to the pair. Scott looked, smiled and accepted.
Scott sat next to Mr. Connors chair and Amanda sat next to her mother.
“Thank you for your hospitality, Mrs. Connors” he opened up to conversing with Amanda’s mother.
“You’re welcome young man, but you do have some explaining to do” Libby explained with concern. “I heard what you did for our Amanda today, and hope that you are okay”
“Yeah, I’m fine, why wouldn’t I have been” he retorted half heartedly.
Amanda head bopped the other too with avid interest and listened to them both chat. “I was just doing my duty Mrs. Connors, I was just looking after your daughter” he smiled back innocently.
“May we tuck in?” Amanda said “I have not sat down for a long time, I’m aching and food, feels like my stomach hasn’t ate in years” she took a slice of Turkey from the dish and onto her plate.
Her mother watching with interest keeping her opinion quietly.
“Would you like a drink apple juice, orange?” Libby suggested as she heard the door of the office slam shut.
“Orange would be fantastic, It is an honor I’m sure , I mean being caught up in CRESS in your husband’s company is simply horrifying ordeal and I’m sure you know what happened today” he reassured himself with a cute smile.
“It wasn’t all that bad mom honest, “Amanda defended trying to avoid the subject and eat like she had never eaten in a long time.
“Lets’ just talk” she answered rubbing her arm reassuringly. “We need answers let me assure you.”
“What do you want me to say?” Amanda looked on worriedly.

“Well it happened all so quickly” she added looking at Scott with her eyes to ask to help her out” “So what do you want me to say?” Scott answered her back telepathically. Libby looked at them interestingly like something was wrong but she was not sure what.
“So apple juice or orange” she stood up to get them both their drinks. “Orange” they both said today.

Libby poured out the drinks as Mr. Connors walked in perplexed in his business attire. “Any luck?” Libby asked him as he sat down at his seat. “No, but I’m going to find out from these two right now” he sat with Scott and poured himself a whiskey.

“So where do we start?” he questioned authoritively “you two know full well my private affairs about my being in Cress, and so it’s seems there has been another breach in the pod areas, which let me reiterate it is a maximum security top secret area and only you two have ever been in there.”
Amanda looked upon her dad and avoided his direct stare “Do I.. ”So what’s this to do with me?” she questioned him back. “Scott watched on “This concerns both of you , now let me assure you” Daniel Connors eyes raised “Do you remember anything from today?” he questioned her. As Scott went to answer in her defence Daniel raised his finger to him “Ah let her answer” he pipped to Scott.
“She’s my girl” he defended “and I’m her father” she answered him back with strength of words.
“In a space of five minutes the room had changed atmosphere became more intensified.
“This is extremely important issue you are dealing with now and I want the truth.”
“So what do you want me to say?” Amanda began to raise her voice.
Daniel kept his work related issues top secret and not to mess both sides of the business become threatened. It was a hard one to balance but obviously cracks had now surfaced.
“You mean the pods” Amanda answered only by a nudge from Scott discreetly. “You were kidnapped” Scott spoke through her mind “Oh that” she barked.
Libby’s eyebrows became raised “I was kidnapped” she burst out and I I feel a lot now better and I’m just getting stuck for words because it’s late and it’s been a long day”
“You have not got the faintest clue” Libby replied concerned ““No you’re right my memory seemed to have lapsed, I don’t understand what you are saying to me mom”
“Maybe I will remind you” Daniel added “I wonder if you have seen my work pass today? It’s a little ironic to say that all being well, how you seem to have my orders for you to both rest at home till we returned and that you suddenly only appear now. “
“I’m sorry I’m not hearing you, we don’t have your pass and it’s a shame you are having to blame the two people in the world who you don’t trust right now” Scott defended. “Here search me, yes we have been at the pods all day, but I can assure you Mr.Connors we don’t have what you say we have”
“are you for real?” look young lady, this is simply the deal, you are not talking sense your making this hard for me” Daniel answered.
“Let her eat, this can wait for the morning” Libby tried to cut sharp the debate.
“No let her talk, we are not finished yet”
“Daniel”
Libby stood up to him “Amanda been through enough”
“And I have a duty of honor to protect this family” Daniel stood firm.
“Guys here is the deal” Scott stood up angry. “We don’t know what this is all about; we haven’t done what you may have thought we have done. Now as you can see, we were not invited to square an argument but to eat and the food is going cold” Scott addressed it one last time as he was eyeing up his dish.
“Good idea” Amanda backed him up.
“It’s simple, you were brought to me out cold, we brought you out to the back of my offices and you had a sneak peak at some pods which happened to be revisited whilst you were away from this home, when you both made me promises to not go back to the facility in case you got caught, and you were told to rest”
“Well we’ll be just leaving then, “ Scott and Amanda stood up to try and avoid any more questioning.
“No one is going anywhere” both Connor parents sang together.
“Mr. and Mrs. Connors, with due respects I don’t personally feel you are giving us a chance, Amanda requires rest but another grilling won’t answer anything, she requires rest”
“Daniel, he is right” “you have had a long day too, I’m sure that this will all blow over and you can cover it up in some way or form” Libby concluded placing her hand upon his back for support.
“Duh,” Scott looked at Amanda “they know we got out? Or have their suspicions”
Scott kissed her and reassuring hugged her and left for home to talk to Brendan. “I’ll be back in the morning”

So it was a joint all around effort of feeling overwhelmed but a need to press on with duties outside of their own youthful boundaries were stretching thin. “If that demon places any finger upon any one of us, I’ll shoot the thing down” Matt spoke with determination towards his new founded best friend Scott Evans.
“Well I’m glad to hear it Scott, because Amanda requires you to be there for her and I’m acting like her big brother so well neatly put, thank you for stating that case” he sighed a relief and looked up around the tree. “Here goes” Matt nodded to Scott with a smile.

Both men listened to the family conversation before Scott with his sharp eye for detail sectioned part of the path and found an ID badge in the light of the full moon. “Check this” he nudged Matt.
“Come on Matt let’s go” Matt stood up and pouted in agreement before trying to silence his mind which went on to how he wanted to pull the trigger once and for all and kill the son of a bitch demon and find out who he was physically.  The other guys had heard the message when they quickly ran out of the house and launched away down the street. A few more blocks later they landed in Cookies Cavern and grabbed a corner table.
Matt broke up the two love birds when he joined the couple with the rest of the group having bought a round of drinks “So what did you swipe from off the floor earlier” he questioned and expected answers right then.  He watched with super surprise when Evans provided him with a smirk “ ID card, Daniel Connors, he dropped it on the floor when he went into the house”
Matt smiled and laughed “nice work Evans” nodding in agreement the group laughed at the face and finger print which stipulated their only chance on getting back into C.R.E.SS without getting caught.
After the running commentary of “We won’t go without each other” demands and defending their other halves, the conclusion was created that they would all go. “Now there has to be a plan and it has to be done in the correct manner” Matt debated, he always dreamed of doing this type of thing and maybe this time it was going to come up trumps. Scott was like his duo of support, he clicked in with the same ideas and he found he could rely on him and trust him for his own backup. After arriving at a decision to split the gang up into smaller groups in order to avoid being caught, he shifted his weight on the seat and yawned.

“It is dangerous, but We cannot intervene if you won’t allow us to do so?” Archangel Michael forwarned them that they were making a mistake, even Amanda was picking up the vibes and it was a great choice to make.  Matt wanted fun and he was just really looking forward to doing something different for a change. At the complex the night was lit up by a cresent moon and the errie silent was another pre warning that was ignored. Matt.
Matt wiped his brow with a hankerchief from his pocket, “Are we ready? If I’m not out after fifteen minutes one of you will have to come in after me, or do some thing drastic like call the cops” he nodded. He looked at his friends and patted his jacket, if anything happened he had his gun to take down anyone who tried to step in his path, this he kept quiet, but Archangel Michael looked on cautiously.
“So it’s up the steps take a right, run down the corridoor and run up the stairs to the room on the left.”Right, up and left then right” he heard Scott affirm his path. “IF your not out by twenty minutes then we’ll come in and get you” Scott pointed at his brother. “okay, top trumps” Brendan raised his hand at matt. “This once” he called over to him.
The group watched him head up the steps from a near hedge and he looked all smart as he sported a black suit and tie. “Oh he looks just like he’s walking into a hospital” Casey nudged Amanda “all nice and smart”
Scott laughed “Just like a man in black, he will be back” he laughed. It was shift change and Matt walked confidently up the steps and marched into the receptionist area. Pointless going to sign in, only visitors did that and so he held up the badge and willed it to blink green to let him through. “Dammit” it went red and he still looked straight ahead. “Try it the other way round” he heard Archangel Michael and his guardians prompt him.” Be quick you got one chance right now” they all said together.
Matt tried again and listened to his Angels advice. “Bleep, Bleep” it turned green and he held open the door and let another walk through and smiled. Walking confidently up the corridor so far so good, he looked around and it just looked like an average factory and workers by this time he managed to go through the next set of doors and up the stairs to the top floor and down that corridor, and then you could feel the atmosphere change towards him. Business cold and deflective of any nature to harm, he walked past more people and entered the office. “Easy, as that”  he sighed and looked across at the room which Connors called his second home according to Amanda his daughter. Meanwhile, Marcs had sensed his appearance and was already in his secret location awaiting his arrival. What was new to the young group wasn’t to the adults as things had already taken it’s toil on Lea and Sarah. They were being watched, and that was something Amanda forgot to mention to the rest of the team.  Matt grabbed some peanuts from Connors desk and looked around for paperwork that may give him a heads up for the group of friends he loved. “nothing” he whispered “Come on Connors give us something we don’t know” and with that Archangel Gabriel sparkled in the corner his rare but beautiful gold spark. “you must hurry, they know you”  he heard “Okay,” he smiled but this is wicked” he walked out to the sparkle and pulled out of the tray a letter stamped confidential “you have not got time to read it” Archangel Gabriel announced accordingly. “They are in your mind” “huh, who are?” Matt sniggered.
“You will see” a voice sounded off.
Matt shoved the confidential letter that he was guided too, into his back pocket. Opening the door with caution, he looked out both ways and paced down the stair well as if he was being pushed to get out.
“So you see Dr.Connors holds secrets, things that would never be approved of in the outside world” Three men could be heard down aisle one “There is a group of them Sir” another mentioned “how shallow is that?” “wait and see gentlemen, but we know his daughter is one of them” the other affirmed. Stopping outside the set of doors waiting
“Shit” Matt answered under his breath. Marcs could almost sniff Matt out and he knew he wasn’t alone. “This won’t take a minute” Marcs walked up towards the set of doors where he swore he felt something was there. He stopped and looked through the windows and he saw nothing and then progressed to walk back down to his group of team leaders. “Oh it’s nothing” he smiled innocently “Code 3” he called into his walkie talkie. Walking down with the rest of the group. Matt who stood behind a plant pot breathed a sigh of relief. “Fuck me”
Walking out side, he smiled with open arms “I’m here” he snuggled Casey and smiled at the others. “I’m okay baby” he kissed her and headed to Brendan and Scott. “Close shave” “I nearly got caught, but never” he smiled with accomplishment. Scott looked worriedly at Amanda “did they know you were there?” he answered. “I heard them say Dr. Connors.. I never knew he was? “ Matt watched Scott shake his head “and what did you hear” “They were talking about Amanda, saying they know she is one of us” Matt said.
Amanda grabbed onto Scott’s hand and felt sick in her stomach. “they know us don’t they, I just know it”
Matt reassured her that it would be fine and they all went back in the same entrance but this time following Scott’s lead and then Amanda behind him. Down two flights of stairs below and into a blue zone they took each step gracefully. “Shhhhh, we gotta take a deep breath and see if this code works. “023791131” “# hash “Amanda whispered. “He always tells me he forgets the hash key” Scott looked at her as if to say”huh” Amanda smiled. Scott pulled the door as it clicked to unlock and they peeped around. “it’s good in here” he looked to Matt. “There they are over there in the corner” He sighed a relief.
All in unison they stepped forward to take a closer look at themselves “Stand by your doubles” Matt joked in truth the whole thing freaked him out. “Look I’m clean shaven” Matt laughed. “They got that wrong ain’t they” he choked with tears of laughter. “shhhh” Casey held back her nervous laughter. Brendan was the first to spot him and he laughed at everyone else “erm guys.. we’re not alone” Before Matt could grab Casey’s hand and make a run for it, they six of them were up floating in mid air. “Blind me man” he closed his eyes when he could feel the red light penetrate himself as though he was diluted into minions of pieces.  “what the hell is going on.. CASEY”
Silence fell upon him as he opened his eyes he noticed the window in front of him “OH SHIT, your kidding me”
There wasn’t enough space to get into his inner jacket to access his hidden gun. Banging on the window he shouted “Let me out you son of a bitch” “Latin, I knew I should have learned it at school.. shit” “Let me out now or .. “Keep your cool Mr. Deluka it’s your turn next “ a voice in the machine pod spoke to him. “Who is this?” he looked around where he could "Let me introduce myself to you, my name is Marcs"

[Scott Evans]

Lay in the pod Scott had never felt or even considered himself to be claustrophic in all his life but as he lay still, staring at the glass dome only inches from his face he was starting to panic. He could see his breathe on the glass and could feel his heart beating a little faster with every second he was in there and he needed to get out. Almost as if he was being monitored the voice of Marcs came over loud and clear “Just relax Mr Evans, getting yourself worked up will not do you any good at all” he spoke with a slight tone of sarcasm in his voice “Let us out you bastard” Scott demanded “All in good time, once the dopplegangers get what they are looking for you will be switched back, you just have to be patient, can you do that?” he asked and Scott knew if he was stood face to face with this guy right now he would be in serious need of a face pummelling “You’ll pay for this, you won’t get away with it. Whatever it is your doing, it’s not going to work” Scott said and he was certain about that “We will get away with it and you won’t remember anything about this when you get out” Scott knew that Marcs was smiling as he spoke “Who’s we? Is Daniel....Mr Connors aware of what you are doing?” a couple of moments of awkward silence filled the pod before he said anything “Daniel knows only what he needs to know” Scott was getting pissed “That doesn’t answer my question, do you think he would be happy to know what you are doing to his daughter?” Scott knew in the short time he had got to know the Connors that Daniel would do absolutely anything for his family, he would risk his own life for that of his own. Marcs laughed “I’m not scared of Daniel, he plays the big shot here but I have more power than he could ever dream of, now enough with the questions, In fact I think it’s time you had a sleep, night night Mr Evans” Scott felt his heart jump into his throat, what exactly did he mean by that? Within a few seconds he realised as smoke began to fill the pod from a small chamber towards his feet, Scott recognised the smell of sleeping gas he had been put under at the dentist before and the smell was something you don’t ever forget. Trying to fight it was no use as he slipped into a state of unconsciousness, little did Marcs know that this was probably the worst thing he could have done.

The following day

Doppleganger Scott awoke with a start to surroundings that he had only become familiar with the night before, he was used to waking up in that small confined space he had called home for the past few months, he knew what Marcs had told them, that they had a mission and that once the mission was complete then they would be swapping back with their other selves but he had other plans. No one was going to make them go back even if it meant that their originals stayed there for good, then so be it. Scott had a taste of freedom and it tasted sweeter than anything he could ever have imagined. Talking of things that tasted sweet Amanda was just delicious, there was no way after all this time that he was going to give that up now. Climbing out of bed and looking around the room of the young teen who’s identity he was occupying he gave a smile to himself “I could get used to this”. After being interrogated by Mr Connors the night before Scott had abruptly eaten and left the premises, he would have stayed the night with Amanda but having to keep up the pretence to not make the parents suspicious he had to leave. Hearing a knock at his door he was a little startled momentarily forgetting where he was again “Honey, could you run me to the mall?” a lady Scott presumed to be his mother called through the door “Sure Mom” he half chuckled to himself at how crazy that sounded “When you are ready hon, I’ll be waiting” he heard footsteps walk away from the door, this guy really did have it all, a hot girlfriend, a mother who sounded like she baked cookies and cupcakes at weekends, probably a member of the school committee too. He had a brother who he seemed to get along with and from the family photo he had in his room a dad too, the perfect American family, there was no way he was going to give this up”.

Getting changed and heading downstairs to the smile of warm bagels he smiled to himself as Brendan was sat at the kitchen counter filling his face with alsorts of breakfast treats “Hey sport, you sleep well” his father dressed in a suit greeted him “Yeah...Dad” he glanced at Brendan and he gave a knowing smile “Coffee?” his dad asked him as he was freshly brewing some “Sure, why not”.

After dropping his mom off at the mall after a quick youtube search on ‘how to drive a car’ Scott proceeded to head to the Connors residence to pick Amanda up, he knew that Daniel would be at work and had been wondering how Marcs would keep Daniel from going down to the pods, afterall if the originals were to wake up then they would surely tell him who they were and he would know what had happened. It wasn’t for him to worry about right now, for now they needed to make sure that no one figured out who they were so if that meant keeping it as close to normal as they could then so be it, after they have gotten what they need then they could either ditch Grandville altogether or start a new life for themselves, be a shame if the labs went up in smoke with the pods inside but these things do happen.

Amanda walked out the house and Scott found his breath catching in his throat, she looked even better than she had the day before in a baby blue summer dress, black flat ballerina shoes and her hair down flowing in the wind, she had a little make up on and smelt delicious as she got into the car “WOW” was all he could say, she smiled and lent over kissing him firmly, he slipped his tongue in her mouth and pulled her closer hands in her long brown hair “Glad to see you too” he smiled as they pulled away “Let’s get out of here, I’m sick of the 20 questions the parental keep springing on me, playing her is hard” Scott laughed and pulled away the car juddering as they speed down the street.

(Meanwhile)

Original Scott woke with a start he blinked rapidly at his surroundings, suddenly remembering where he was “Shit!!!” his voice was gruff from the sleeping gas and his head was pounding, he had remembered a dream that he’d had but his head was so fuzzy. It had been a message from Archangel Michael, what had he told him? If only he could think straight. His suddenly realised how thirsty he was, his mouth was so dry, taking out his cell to check the time he found the battery had died “Great” he threw it down beside him and rested his head back, he hadn’t felt this rough in a long time. Seconds passed and a little blue light appeared within the pod, another chamber opened and a tube dropped from within it, moments later water began dripping “Drink” an unfamiliar voice spoke and Scott was too dehydrated to question who, why and what as he took the tube in his mouth and the flow of water intensified, he gulped down the water like he hadn’t had a drink in weeks and when no more water came out he let the tube drop from his lips and gave a huge intake of breath.

“How are you feeling this morning?” the voice asked him “What’s it to you, like any of you care” he shoot back to whomever was asking “If we didn’t care then you would be dead already” the voice was softly spoken in comparison to Marcs, almost familiar but Scott couldn’t quite place it “Is Amanda Okay?” he asked, she was his main concern and not being able to get to her, keep her safe and protected was killing him inside “Miss Connors is fine, she had a rough night but is sleeping it off still” Scott felt his heart pang knowing she had, had a rough night, he needed to be with her so bad “You can’t keep us in here forever, we aren’t animals we are human beings for god sake” he was shouting now “It shouldn’t be too much longer then you can go home and you’ll have no memory of any of this, it’ll all feel like a bad dream” with that the voice fell silent and Scott knew that he was on his own again. Trying so hard to remember what Michael had told him in his dream it was as if a light bulb had gone on when he suddenly remembered the cryptic message “The key to being free lies within” what the hell did it all mean?

Breathless Scott sat up on the back seat and pulled Amanda up to meet him, their sweaty naked bodies clinging on to one another as they panted and tried to catch their breath back “That was amazing” Amanda spoke kissing him once again “Your telling me, I could get used to this” he pushed her back down and proceeded to kiss down her body, trailing his lips over her breasts and down between her legs, she let out a groan as his tongue circled her before slipping his tongue deep within and feeling her tighten around him as he tasted her sweet juices one more time.

Half an hour later they were on their way to pick up the others, Brendan and Keeley were meeting them at the local Grandview heights, Matt and Casey were hitching a ride with them. Stopping outside the Deluka house the two came out and got in the car “Smells like sex in here” Matt spoke matter of factly “Eewwww seriously, are we sitting on your sweaty naked ass prints back here” Casey replied as Scott and Amanda gave a smile to one another “I think I’m gonna throw up” Matt shuck his head as they drove away.

“So this is the infamous Grandviews is it?” Scott spoke as the 6 teens looked out over the whole of Grandville, he felt so free right now “I tell you one thing, I don’t miss being in those pods” Kelley said, taking a deep breath of fresh air “Me neither and that’s why we aren’t going back” turning to face everyone Scott gave a smile “We are on too much of a good thing here, so I for one don’t have any plans on going back into them pods, treated like a science experiment. I don’t care what Marcs says or does I’m staying put, who’s with me” all the teens raised their hands and smiled at one another “This could mean war” Matt suggested “Then let the war commence” Scott knew that Marcs and his men wouldn’t take this news lightly but he would fight to the death to get what he wanted “Are you sure about this, if we make this decision there is no going back” Amanda asked him “I’ve never been more sure of anything in my short life” Matt gave a smile “Well then, we got wok to do!!”

Deluka squirmed around and was becoming more agitated at being stuck in one position all night and not being able to move. He was concerned on getting out of the place all together as a group, himself as an individual and especially Casey. Matt didn’t sleep when he didn’t trust and being in that small confined space did not do him the world of good. For one he was missing his home comforts. He was also missing his Casey Bauer, the scent of her skin, the locks in her hair, the smile the whole package. Matt lay impatient and overly tired, he must have been on and off with his sleeping patterns. During the night the place was silent, the odd door slamming could be heard in nearby corridors. What was doing his head in the most was the lack of noise, it was too quiet for his liking and above all, he was missing his rock music, the loud noises of Def leppard and Guns and Roses were etching in his mind trying to keep himself occupied. Looking around the pod it was clean and pristine, nothing more than a tight machine with three buttons and well maintained. He scoured every nook and cranny looking at some point where he could get out or break the confines of his area. “Nothing” he sighed “there had to be something and he was getting hungry.

All night he heard voices in his head, he thought he was going mad, it made it seem that way, but he was silently figuring out that he could be doing stuff outside of his body, without even consciously knowing he was doing it. Then other times when tiredness could get his way, he thought he was going mad.
Morning approached and Matt lay asleep until lights woke him up in the pod. He knew one thing for sure, that Marc’s had a target to his head and he was the hitman. Pressing the button that he had now found to be a service button, he had kept pressing the button just to annoy them on the other side of the communication; he had tried ordering a take away, a drink, a cigarette, a book, anything and everything to torment the son of a bitch which was enchanting to say the least.
“Dammit, can’t you see we are together?” he then had heard a cry in his head and he thought it was Casey, but took it into grace. “What the fuck?” he cried startled. “Is this for real? The voices you are all getting inside my head”

The following conversation takes place inside Matt’s mind.
“Stay calm, it’s not what it seems” another voice spoke in his mind and a beautiful strengthened and serene energy swamped him into a calm sensation of being safe. “This is new for you, we agree but it is one of the safest ways we can talk to you, we are your Guardians, and we are there to keep you strong, loved and well prepared”
“You are safe here for now, It is question time and you cannot shift away without my say, shh’s he is here, when it is time grab your girl and make run, we will protect you. “
“Who is this?” Matt shouted out in his mind. “Strange, but true, you have wings, but you’re not prepared for your flight yet” “Do you trust me?” a gentler voice was heard.
Outside his head.

“Open the door now, Casey” he snapped and became more frustrated and the guardians sent peace to surround him.
“Argh shit the gun” he panicked “The gun is safe until you are let out” the guardians told him clearly. Be careful now, one will approach you. They have plans to defeat you, holding nothing but love is the choice you will make.”
“I’ll take it all, what is taken, to keep you together” Matt pipped “you must stay together”
Matt felt like people were in his mind, making a conversation between people including his own higher self. It was weird and draining at times, but it was important to listen to the Angels as he concluded he was one of them.
His higher self was conversing with his Angels above and over his mind, he was not really aware of this new skill that was developing but it startled him to say the least.
“Self disclosure” now there is a new voice. Marc’s voice interrupted his conversation with his mind. It disrupted his flow of words and recognition to this tannoy thing broke his chattering mind.
“Don’t disrupt my thinking, I have enough on my mind” Matt responded. “We know, we can tell”.

“Patient 256 never survived and it was trial and error, it was your mother” he announced over the annoy in his pod.
Marc’s voice was cunning but sharp tongued and spiteful as he worded every word to his a cord inside of Matt. The words sunk into his soul and penetrated him with hurt and disaster.
“You bastard, you son of a bitch, let me out now” he tried his best to kick the pod open.
“Now, now kiss and tell, if you do as your are told we will” Marcs spoke back in charge as if he was powerful and authoritive over Matt.
“What do you want?” Matt spat out the pain at Marc’s and was comforted by his angels.
“The truth, now we can do this sitting up or lying down” he retorted
“Now tell me, what do you know Matthew” Marcs questioned.
“Don’t call me Matthew, its Matt” knowing full well that his Mom used to call him that and that since she was gone, he only allowed Casey Bauer or the Angels to call him by his full name.
“What are you hiding?” the next question was fired.

“As if I am going to tell you anything, your evil” Matt shot back at him.
Matt lay down for a couple of moments and calmed himself down. “You can do anything, really just trust us” the Angels taught him and kept him from his anger, “you must laugh or do something fun” the remarked.
“We prepare you for your escape, don’t tell them anything but we will get you out” Archangel Michael spoke sternly in his mind. Matt agreed that it was a lot to take in, his soul was fortified by strength which was not seen by the naked eye but it definitely felt during this tense moment.
Matt shed a tear, a mixture of grief, frustration and tiredness. He wondered if his emotions were being monitored and what more they were doing with their hiding and scaring tactics.

Matt pressed his tannoy button in his pod. “Marc’s I’m ready, but you realise Casey Bauer”
There was an overall tense silence, like a big brother moment which was getting to the peak of it’s watershed.
Then out of now where, Marc’s walked out into the pod area and pressed a button which took the pod to a standing position.
“You have our assurance, Miss Bauer is safe but you will both remain in the pods until our external work is finished”
“I don’t buy that, I want proof and I want evidence that she will be freed” He commanded.” how can I trust you after what you did to my mother?”
Another silence as Marc’s and other two personnel stood there muttering between themselves.
One spoke into the radio he was handling and then the other man smiled at Matt deceptively. “What the hell are you grinning at”
“I have another question, when do we get out of here for a stretch, food and a smoke? Even a prisoner of war are entitled to these basics”
“We will honour your requirements as long as you tell us your answers Mr Deluka, now quiet, we have something to show you. “

With that a digital screen came up on his pod window, very far technologically advanced like the ones they would use in mission impossible, a film he had watched a few years back.
Images of Casey Bauer singing in her pod was shown to Matt in real time, “she is a real treat Deluka, a fine specimen of a lady” the other guard spoke into the pod.
“Now, you know she is safe, you owe us some answers, when you are ready Marcs” he looked across towards the seemingly manager of the whole establishment.
“Question one- Do you happen to know who you are?”
Deluka chuckled at them all and rubbed his face with determination, “Are you serious? Answers are on the buzzer” he laughed.
He pressed the button which allowed his voice be heard on many levels.
“Matt Deluka” he answered with a cheeky grin to his face.
There was silence for a few moments until you could hear the opposition’s voices.
“Wrong answer and next question”
“Do you know what the Evans brothers are capable of doing? They hold secrets do they not?”
Another silence was created and Matt started thinking if Scott or Brendan had ever disclosed anything. “The answer is .... “ and he gave them a silence back.  “being my friends”. He concluded with his grin.
“I’m sorry but this looks like a game show to me” he snarked.
“This establishment has long research on people like and you will suffer from this place if you don’t not comply”
This time his voice got cold and dark, very sinister and Matt thought that he was making the enemy lose his patience.
“Son of a bitch, let me out of here, and I’ll see you down in one” he yelled “Matt yelled back in part rage.
“Now this is the Deluka, we all like to see, the real side of you come through.” Marc’s laughed at him. Peace pumped into the pod and grace fell upon all of them. They may not have noticed but Daniel Connors had been watching from the layside and closed the door before being noticed.
“Archangel Michael came unto Matt and he created a strength around him. “Matthew you are safe, I am with you” he spoke clearly and without fear. “See he can’t get to you, you are getting to him, If you believe, no harm will come to you, Stay calm and you will be protected”
Just then with Matthew’s nod. It was as if he had a strong knowing of what Archangel Michael had told him.
The next moment the pod door was released to a surprised Matt. “Go where they go, that’s an order, you will find a way out with us”
If fresh air wasn’t enough he breathed a sigh of relief when it opened up. “Out you come” Marcs demanded him. Matt waited till he was assisted into getting out of the pods.
“Where you taking me?” he stretched.
“You will see” and before that he was escorted out from the pods.
Brendan was stood behind him but heavily guarded. Both were marched outside of the areas of where the pods were.

“Pass me some chips” Casey turned to Matt and smiled “Get your own chips” he bantered back with her, it was usual for the two of them to banter, in fact they were know n for it “Please, come on I need the chips” she pouted and Matt smiled “Look at that lip, I’m going to get it” he leaned forward kissing her bottom lip before delving into a full on kiss slipping his tongue between her parted lips and meeting hers “Mmmmmm” she moaned as they pulled apart and Matt passed her the potato chips “Thank you” she smiled happily as she began to tuck into them and snuggle into him. Every Sunday was the same, they would spend the day with the others then in the evening they would snuggle up with some snacks and a good movie or two, they very rarely got to the end of a movie but they would always catch it again at a later date. Today felt different though, Casey wasn’t sure what it was but she didn’t feel right, like she wasn’t here. She would often feel spaced out but this was different it was almost like she was in a dream.

“You Okay?” Matt picked up on her unease like he always did “Yeah, I just feel a bit odd today” she replied turning to face him “That’s because your dreaming” he replied Casey laughed “Yeah right Okay then” she was smiling but felt a little uneasy by the look on his face “I’m serious Case, don’t you remember where you are?” like a hurricane Casey suddenly remembered everything that had happened, the pods, marcs, being trapped and she knew that she was dreaming. In the past she had always been able to manipulate her dreams and would often use it as an escape, she knew that’s what she was doing now and she knew where she had to go. “Are you sleeping?” Casey asked dream Matt “What do you think? You know the answer” she nodded and knew that it didn’t feel like Matt was sleeping, she had been known to dream walk him in the past, it felt like this time he was a manifestation of her own subconscious. “I have to go, I need to find him” Matt nodded and knew who she was referring to, he took her face in his hands and kissed her on the end of the nose “You’ve got this, don’t be afraid” and with that he vanished leaving Casey stood alone in her bedroom.

Over the years Casey had learnt a lot when it came to dreams but it still excited her how easily she could change her surroundings and talk to people in the dream state, closing her eyes she imagined where she needed to be and on opening her eyes she found she was there, the rainbow river. It was always so breathtaking to her, if you could imagine the most beautiful garden in the world, it wouldn’t even touch on how stunning this was. The first time Casey had seen it, she literally had her breath taken away. Gazing around she was stood on the greenest of grass, the blades were all in perfect size to the next and the flowers that surrounded the outer areas of the green were colours that hadn’t even been invented, vibrant and so bright it was beyond magical. Turning round and walking a little way until she heard the familiar sound of water running Casey smiled to herself and quickened her pace as the rainbow river came into view, it was beyond words, the little waterfall down-stream had always been Casey’s favourite little spot and the area she tended to get her inspiration from.

Removing her shoes and socks Casey places her bare feet on the grass and gave a warm sigh as she felt the warmth of the grass between her toes, it wasn’t like the usual feel of grass but more like a fluffy carpet, the warmth of the sun beating down on her was pure bliss. Closing her eyes momentarily she opened them and found she was in her best swimsuit, it was red with black skulls on, not exactly appropriate for where she was but she was sure the angels would find it amusing. She stepped forward and dipped her big toe in the rainbow river, it was warm like it always was and inviting, jumping in she let the water run all over her body and felt cleansed with her second that passed by “I adore this place” she said aloud as she began to swim on her back down stream taking in the beauty of what was around her and the feelings she felt when she was there, a far cry from the pods, she was free here. “Love the swimsuit” she heard a familiar voice as she stopped swimming and a huge smile spread across her face “Ariel” she turned to see the most beautiful Archangel Ariel sat on the embankment soaking her feet into the water, she was wearing a beautiful flowing dress and had flowers in her hair, Casey swam over to her and gave her a big hug, Ariel always gave the most amazing hugs “You know that you have to return at some point” Ariel spoke like a mother speaking to a child “I know, I just.....I don’t know what we are meant to do” Casey said sadly “We are all trapped, I don’t understand Marcs motive and what if no one realises, what if our doubles are so good that we end up trapped in their forever” Ariel placed her hand on Casey’s reassuringly “Together you will all work it out, trust me” Ariel always made Casey feel relaxed “I don’t know how though, we are all separated so how can we work together when we can’t even see or speak to one another” Ariel gave a little chuckle “How do you talk to me, to your other Angels?” she smiled “You mean do it telepathically? What if someone else hears us though and how can we get out the pods?” Ariel took Casey’s hand and opened it up placing a small ruby crystal in it “What’s this?” Ariel kissed her forehead “You will know what to do when the time is right, now it’s time to go back, you are protected my darling girl” with that Casey opened her eyes and was back in the pod, it took her a few moments to gain herself again before she looked at her hand that was still clutched tightly around the rock and she could feel it pulsating in her palm. Opening her hand slowly as light began to peek from the gaps within her fingers Casey had to squint as it became too bright to look straight at, feeling the urge to raise her hand to the glass that was keeping her enclosed in the pod Casey pressed the stone against it and opened her eyes as the light emanating from the crystal began to form a hole in the pod that got wider by the second until it was big enough for Casey to escape. Putting the crystal in her pocket she poked her head out the top of the pod to make sure that the cost was clear before climbing out. As she looked around at the other pods around her she felt like she had stepped into some kind of Alien spacecraft, hurrying over to the first Pod beside her she found it to be empty, who had been occupying this one and more worryingly where were they now? Running over to the next one she looked in to see Amanda, both girls jumped as their eyes connected “You Okay?” Casey mouthed and Amanda shuck her head “I’m getting you out” Casey mouthed taking the crystal out of her pocket, she placed it against the glass and smiled at her best friend but her jubilation was short lived as her friend suddenly hit out at the glass and let out a silent scream her eyes turning to panic as Casey felt something sharp connect with the back of her head, touching her head with her hand and feeling something wet and sticky she brought her hand around to look at what she had just made contact with and saw her hand was covered in blood, with that Casey Bauer passed out.

Amanda watched as Matt and Brendan and then Scott  become separate from the girls as they were marched out of the pods and out of sight. This made her grow angry and she tried her best to bang on the windows out of reaction rather than by choice. Scott looked behind him and gave her a wink of reassurance. But Amanda felt her pulse race, like she felt his nerves from deep within but he was keeping calm to get a way out of there. "Nothing will stop me from getting to you" she screamed out at him.
"That's right, you are with him" she heard her Guardians talk to her in a gentle energy swarm around her.
Sighing as though she gave up voicing her feelings, she sank back into the comfort of her Angels.
"Calm down you will be fine" she was reassured.
Amanda took a deep breath as she felt shudder as Archangel Michael flicked the fear away from her like it was a fly on his shoulder. The strength was felt inside and a jokey manner of his appearance could be felt with the guardians to help lift her feelings up.
"He is fine and safe" he reassured her.
"What do you mean, I am in him?" she asked in her head. "thanks Michael" she answered immediately after him.
"you are one, you are in him, as he is within you" "what they may do to him, so you will feel it, you can talk to each other in spirit you know"
none of it made sense in the mind, of course it was an understanding of the heart and soul.
The head never made sense of nothing spiritual according to Amanda and this was all getting too much.
"They better not hurt him then " she answered.  
"you two are together and not one finger will be laid against your man or the rest of them, we are a team and we hook up to you quite neatly" the Angels said together.
"now relax you have company please let us in"
Amanda nodded and allowed the Angels to sweep in.
Thanking the for their help and support she allowed them to sweep and prepare in spirit what could be done to make an escape happen that they had planned.
"Amanda, You have a power that you don't yet use, in fact you all have it to some degree, you are more ready and we require you to use it first. " it was explained to her using intuition and channelling methods.
"This helps to protect your soul, especially when you see what you can do in the next few moments. Amands shuddered and felt a bit apprehensive.
The explaination was accepted and then when it came to practice the fun started. Not aware of how easy it was to do when you gave it time and got used to feeling the change from the inside. It did become a bit freaky at first. Having to find a victim was quite easy with scientists and other people popping inside the underground area where the pods were well hidden.
Staring at one woman as she approached the nearest door she stared at her with intent of copying her image and she felt her own pattern paste and partially to some degree become part of Amanda. IT felt creepy but funny at the same time and you could feel the woman's energy and see how her face changed in the mirror was hilarious and it creeped her out. "Having fun" see it's within you, you were just not aware of it"
"It lasts only a few moments," she thought to herself.
"you got to lock on to either the eyes or the mouth and it will become stronger, so please do keep practicing and we will protect you "
Archangel Michael told her.
Having practiced on a few people she could feel the sensations of the energy becoming more stronger, she was shapeshifting into other people and how she did it by just locking onto others was a complete mystery. OMG, look at that, she cried, and then thought of ways of doing things at home, such as what would happen if she shifted into scott and she would forwarn him and go dah dah, or what would happen if she shifted into a family member. "EWWW" no I couldn't" she laughed.
After a period of time, she was interrupted with a blinding white light which was like a near death experience. The light just lit up every where and she thought that was it.
Then she closed her eyes tight and leaned away expecting to see an Archangel Azrael to be stood before her to take her up to heaven. The light died down and she opened her eyes to Casey frantically trying to get her attention. "CASEY" she cried with jovial laughter. How did she get out of the pod was a mystery she felt like too many questions were getting in the way again.
Amanda looked dazzled and in slight shock with Casey standing before you with her arm outright towards the glass she closed her eyes expected to be blinded but before she even touched the window. She saw Marc's stood behind Casey and her face dropped with disappointment and fear. Casey was smacked across the head with the edge of a gun and Casey stood up looking bewildered and disorientated by what had happened. Seeing blood on her fingers it shook both of them and as Amanda tried to tell her who it was, not like she didn't know who it could be. She shifted to protect her self and to for a few moments tell Casey who it was before Casey dropped on the floor and was carried away by Marcs. She tried to frantically get her Dad's attention as he was stood with them and not understanding why he would allow such a thing to happen shook her up deeply.
"Don't try anything stupid or you will be next" he warned.
Amanda knew he was the Demon who was after Casey, and wondering why he specifically wanted Casey and not the others. He was moving everyone away and singling out Casey. Now she was hurt and she could do nothing about it.
Casey was dragged away with due force and tried her best to fight it all along the way.
As the door shut she wondered why Carol was so quiet.  May be she was working with the Angels on a plan as well.
"Don't think you are getting out of here Amanda, We are monitoring you and you understand that not even your dad can do anything to protect you now" a voice was heard over the tannoy.
"What a load of crock of shit " she screamed down the tannoy "you are scared of love and you don't want us on this planet for a reason which is?" she screamed down back at them.
"You watched this space, and I swear to you, I will be out" she screamed "You are a demon I know who you are and I will .. "
"Stop, Amanda Stop" Archangel Michael told her. "Drop it, your giving him your power" that's why he is laughing.

Amanda was distraught but angry enough to want to get out to help in some way. "Just let me out now" she stormed off her chest in fury.
"We care"
"Well if you cared you would let me get out and tell some one so they can help me "
"Fall asleep" she was told "just do it, imagine you are at home in somewhere more comfortable and we will do the rest"
"Random? what about Carol? is she okay?"
"Relax, something is going to happen which will get you out"
Half an hour later she fell asleep in the pod, but what took place after that would be profound.
Waking up upon her bed she sat up in alarm. "WTF, where am I?"
She stood up and touched her self and touched everything around her.
"How the hell did you do that?" Am I real?"
she ran to her phone and found no one else was reachable,
"You wanted to be safe, now you are but you must hurry action now, but questions later, you have to get to your parents before, the dopple gangers do"
"Well where is mom?" "shopping"
"OH, Shopping and where are the Dopple-gangers?"
"You will soon see"
Getting changed she grabbed her car keys and drove around downtown in an effort to check out her places where her and mom would go shopping and within twenty minutes she found them, not just her mom but the dopplegangers sat with her mom.  It freaked her out to see Amanda and Scott were dining outside of Coffeebean
her favourite shopping haunt. with lots of chatting. "OH SHIT"
She said to herself. "She honked the car and hoped she would notice her, but how was she going to react" They looked but first time around she presumed it was someone getting out of the lane.
She drove around into a side street and then locked the car up and hoped that she was going to be okay and judge it that she would be safe from Cress and her dopple-gangers.
Grabbing a piece of paper out of her bag and a pen she wrote a message on it and walked calmly up towards them and notified a waitress and asked for them to hand it to them in person to her mother.
She obliged and Amanda hid behind a rack of products in a near by shop.
She watched as her mom told the kids to go and get a drink from inside and as the went into the café, she watched her mom read the message with shock.
She looked around and steadily put the paper into her bag and Amanda made her way back to the car.
Grabbing some candy out of the glove compartment she ate the whole bag for energy and she closed her eyes for a short moment. She let out a sigh and went driving towards Grandville views as she knew she would not be safe at home.

CLICK CLICK CLICK the door to the Pod opened up “What the hell” Scott said as he sat up and took a deep breath of fresh air that awaited him “Mr Evans, follow me” he turned to see Marcs stood close by and a few of his hence-men holding Brendan and Matt “I’m not going anywhere with you until you let Amanda and the girls go and tell us what the hell you want with us” Marcs laughed “Your girls will be safe, you have my word” Matt shouted “Your word means jack shit to us” Scott noted the hence-man grab Matt tighter which didn’t go down well as Matt fought back “SETTLE DOWN!!!” Marcs shouted before turning back to Scott “Your girls will be fine, I have no need to harm any of you, once your doubles get what we need then you can all go back to your sad little lives none the wiser any of this even happened. Scott climbed out the pod and stretched his legs “Why don’t I believe that and you didn’t answer my other question” he was getting seriously pissed and he knew that Amanda wouldn’t be doing too good not knowing how he was “Mr Evans, have patience” Marcs turned to another of the hence-men and motioned towards Scott, take them to the interrogation rooms and don’t leave their sides” they nodded and began escorting the men away, Scott managed a sneak peek at Amanda before he went and gave her a reassuring wink to let her know all was Okay, he could feel her worry and hated leaving the room not knowing what was going to happen to her “I’ll be back for you Amanda, I’ll never let anything happen to you” he spoke in his head, hoping she would hear him.

Being taken to another room Brendan was escorted into one area against his will to be interrogated first, Matt and Scott were taken into a holding room “You tell me what the fuck you are going to do to our girls, I swear to god you touch one hair on Case’s head” Matt squared up to one of the 2 hence-men in the room “You’ll what tough guy” the hence-man known as Clif spoke laughing “Oh you have no idea” Matt threatened Scott felt his phone vibrate in his pocket signalling that he now had a signal which was odd as his battery had pretty much died several hours ago “Matt just let it go” Scott spoke to his best friend “That’s right” the other guy named Wade spoke “Listen to your boyfriend here” with that Matt lunged for him and Scott had to act fast and grab Matt “Come on Matt he’s not worth it” Matt listening to his friend settled down “Let’s take a seat man, come on” the hence-men stood like statues as they took a seat “You should have let me at him” Matt grumbled “All in good time, I have a plan just follow my lead and when I say so ‘No retreat, No surrender” Matt trusting his friend and gave a nod understanding the movie reference “Can I get a glass of water please” Wade and Clif weren’t the sharpest tools in the box and Scott could tell that they would be easily distracted “Mr Marcs said we weren’t to leave you” Wade spoke up “Come on, it’s only a glass of water and I’m sure that your colleague is more than tough enough to cope with the two of us, that’s of course unless he’s chicken” Scott smirked “Aawww he’s scared” Matt teased back “HEY I aint scared of two little boys like you, I eat boys like you for breakfast” Matt laughed “That’s enough of your personal life can we get those waters, preferable to go” Clif looked mad “You little.....” Wade stopped him “He’s just trying to get to you, we spoke about this you need to calm your anger, if Mr Marcs has any more trouble you’ll be out, now can you watch these two for a minute whilst I get some water?” Wade asked as Clif gave Scott and Matt a look in turn “Go, I can handle these” Wade left the room and Clif turned to the two of them arms folded defensively Scott knew that it wouldn’t take much to push this brute over the edge, little did he know that Matt and Scott both knew a few moves themselves “You know it’s really sweet” Matt spoke towards Clif “What is” he replied Scott knew if anyone could push this guys buttons Matt would be the man for the job “You and Wade is it? So how long has that been going on?” Scott chuckled inwardly as he knew where Matt was taking this and big guy Clif clearly didn’t “Has what been going on?” he asked his expression never changing “Oh I’m sorry is it a secret? Hey don’t mind us we don’t discriminate I think it’s really sweet especially in your line of work I mean that must be hard excuse the pun” Clif tightened the grip on his arms “What are you trying to say” Matt stood up “That you and Wade are you know lovers, now I have to ask do you take or do you give” with that Clif lunged for Matt but he was already in position and so was Scott as he lunged forward too tackle the big guy to the ground, as they tumbled to the floor Matt grabbed the gun in Clifs holster and pulled it out aiming it at Clif “Easy pretty boy why don’t you get your hands off my buddy there, he don’t swing that way” Clif began fighting against Scott as he used all his strength to keep him down and Matt proceeded to shot Clif in the knee with a silencer “AAHHHH!!!!” he screamed letting go of Scott as Wade walked back in the room and Matt held the gun up to him “Don’t make a sound tough guy, close the door and take a seat or you’ll be next” Wade looked at Clif and Scott actually saw concern in his eyes “Are you Okay, did they hurt you? Oh my god your bleeding” Matt snorted “Holy crap I was only joking but you two are actually Harvey Wallbangers” Scott looked to his friend “Now’s not the time Matt” Wade took a seat as directed and Scott proceeded to tie him to the chair with his own set of handcuffs and steal his gun, phone and keys “No hard feelings guys, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger right?” Scott looked to his friend as he was warbling on “Matt we have to go before Marcs gets back” he opened the door and peeped out before giving Matt the cost is clear sign “Stay together for the kids you two lovebirds” Matts final words were heard as he shut the door behind him.

Now rogue and alone Scott and Matt tried to figure out their next move, they could see that Brendan was being interrogated and it was too risky to go back for the girls despite them both wanting too, they knew that getting out and finding help was the best thing that they could do. Hearing a door go they both hid in an alcove and Scott had to put his hand over Matt’s mouth as they saw Marcs carrying a wounded Casey down the corridor, walking through a door at the far end of the corridor Scott took his hand off Matt’s mouth and tried to calm him down “What has he done to her, my Casey I can’t.....Scott I can’t” Scott pulled Matt in for a hug “I know, I know....we will sort this out, we will get her out, all of them out do you hear me” Matt looked completely lost “MATT come on I need you to stick with me, Casey needs you” with that he seemed to snap out of his state Scott suddenly got an image in his head of Amanda elsewhere, he felt in within himself too that was the deep connection they had “Amanda.....she’s out, she got out I don’t know how but she is” Scott felt his heart relax knowing his girl was safe “You need to go to her Scott, she needs you” Matt spoke “WE need to go and get help” Scott knew he would have a fight on his hands “I can’t....I won’t leave her and I know if you were in the same situation you wouldn’t even....she’s my girl Scott I can’t be without her and my sister, I can’t leave them” Scott understand better than anyone what his buddy was telling him and he nodded “I’m going to go and get help, you.....stay low and don’t attract any unwanted attention I’m going to get us out of here” Matt and Scott hugged and Scott proceeded to the nearest exit as quickly and as invisible as he could feeling terrible for leaving his friends behind but the urge to be with Amanda was overwhelming.

It was as though Scott had unlocked yet another puzzle in the Amanda and Scott story as his feet took him firm and fast to her location, he didn’t know how he knew and he didn’t care, all he cared about was getting her back in his arms and getting help for his friends. Tucking the gun into the back of his jeans he moved fast and stealth like, he was half expecting to get caught or hear an alarm sounding from inside Cress but nothing but silence filled the air, he had a vision of Casey flung over Marcs shoulder and he wondered how he would break it too Amanda, he just wouldn’t he couldn’t see the pain in her eyes knowing her best friend was hurt and she wasn’t there to help. He found himself walking faster like he hadn’t been on his feet in days. In reality they had only been in the pods around 24 hours but it felt like an eternity.

Turning onto Starfel street Scott saw something that he would never get his head around as the doppelganger bodies of Amanda and Scott passed by in a car with Mrs Connors driving, she had a worried expression on her face and Scott wondered if she knew something was amiss, moving out the way so that he wouldn’t be spotted he let the car pass and then proceeded forwards again still knowing where he was going even though he didn’t. He picked up the pace and found himself running and he continued to run for the next 10 minutes until he reached the bottom of Grandviews and knew that Amanda was waiting at the top. Sprinting now he could feel his heart pounding in his chest as the most beautiful sight in the world came into view and he bolted towards his girl scooping her up into his arms and lifting her up holding her against his chest so tight as they both stood in silence for moments just holding one another “Are you okay? Let me look at you” Scott began to check her over to make sure she was unharmed “I’m Okay Scott, now your here I’m....I missed you so much” she began to cry and Scott wiped her tears away with his thumb “I missed you too, I love you so much Amanda” taking her face in his hands he lent forward and kissed her lips gently repeating his love for her over and over again as his hands ran through her hair and all over her body “I feel like I haven’t seen you in weeks, I can’t, I can’t ever be in that position again, I won’t let you out of my sight again” he kissed her passionately sinking deeper into her and pulling her so close to him “That’s fine by me, I don’t want to be away from you for a second, I can’t not now” Amanda held him like her life depended on it “We have to help the others” he said “The demon, it has Casey, she was bleeding” Amanda spoke “I know Matt and me saw Marcs take her away, Matt....he wouldn’t leave without her or Keeley and Brendan was being interrogated, we have to get help for them” Scott spoke he couldn’t take his eyes from off her “I found my mum with us, the other us I managed to get a note to her, she knows” Scott nodded “I just saw them in the car heading back to your house, your mum looked strange, now it makes sense. So what do we do now, we can’t just sit and wait” Scott said holding tightly onto her hand “That’s exactly what you are going to do” a voice echoed from behind them as they turned to find Michael Bauer stood behind them “Mr Bauer, what’s going on?” the pair stood holding each other “When all this stuff with the demons Vs angels began I decided to keep tabs on all of you, now I know it’s not exactly legit or right but I had Casey’s phone tracked and I’m not proud of it but I also put a GPS tracker on your car” he spoke towards Scott “I know that you went to Daniel Connors place of work yesterday and I also know that whoever that was that came home last night was not my daughter” Amanda and Scott looked at one another in awe “I’m trained to be able to read signs and people, I know my Casey and that thing that came into my house last night was not my little girl, so do you both want to tell me what the hell is going on and why my daughters cell phone is still at Daniel Connors place of work?”

Amanda had been at the top of Grandview's for the best of three hours. She had sat cautiously wondering if she should have stayed behind and helped Scott and the rest of her friends. The Angels taught her and created something that she could never have thought she could do and that was not only getting out of the place alive but also to shapeshift and to teleport through dimensions. She so wanted to tell Scott everything and make sure he was okay. She anxiously stood up and walked around the play area and walked back to the view of which over looked Grandville.
Her mind had seemed to go closed as if it denied it was ever possible. She sat in the sun and allowed the fresh air to help rest her anxious mind. For some reason Scott was the only one she would trust down to the T in Trust and she would listen to him. She did not know why she did but she did. She also trusted her Angels although her head begged to disagree she did deep down inside. She breathed in the air deep into her lungs having engaged with false air for what seemed to be a lifetime. As for Scott waiting for him was like waiting a thousand years that were going too slow to comprehend. At some point, she fretted and believed she should have stayed at his side and tried to some how rescue it, but he would have forbid it and he believed in not being rescued anyway. So she sat and waited and waited until she felt the hunger in her heart to just want to be free to be with him.
She looked out and ate the last piece of chocolate that was in her pocket that she had brought from home. Suddenly she felt her self lighten up and she felt she knew Scott was coming back and he had some how with the help of her angelic friends that he was coming at her with full speed. Standing up she could see a figure growing in size towards her and fast. He was running and he never stopped until he was staring at her face with his own. His deep brown eyes bore into her own and she let go of her defences because she knew she was safe.
He kissed her deep down and would not let go of her.  Their energies seemed to fuse more together and they felt closer than every before.
Her heart felt warm and washed with love, so much love that she did not know what to make of it.
He was almost out of breath when he arrived to face her reunion. That she considered his health and she pulled away to allow him to breathe. As a release she cried and let go of everything that she could, just to be with Scott. She knew it was not over yet, but time defied them both and she examined him for any pain inside and out and pledged to secure him with her own love and heal him.
"Are you hurt?" she questioned checking him over. He shook his head "I'm fine" he smiled sheepishly.  "Then we go to tell Mr. Bauer and ask for his help." he said in response.
Suddenly Amanda jumped as she heard a familiar voice behind her as they both turned towards Mr Bauer staring directly at them. "Fancy finding you here" Scott responded.
"Mr Bauer they have your Casey and Matt is just holding and they still have Keeley and Brendan too" Amanda explained. "The demon has Casey" Scott double confirmed to him as he looked worried as Amanda was.
"Exactly, how did this happen" Mr Bauer questioned him. Scott sighed and responded with him wiping his brow and looking around. "it is a long story Sir but they are in a quarantined secret location underneath where Daniel Connors Works"
"Is that so?" Mr Bauer responded and placed a walkie talkie to his mouth. "I require all the details right now and you guys are going to take me to this location and then you are strictly forbidden to get in the way and that is an order"
"We were in the pods, they took us and swapped us and I'm not even sure if my dad is aware of who was in those" Amanda added her peace. "He knows but that is another story"
"How did you know it was us?" Amanda and Scott spoke up to his opinions.
"Never you mind, but we have to get you looked over and safe" he demanded them to follow him as he headed to darkened out van, the door slid opened and they sat in it " "Your safe" he said to them both before closing the door.
Mr Bauer sat in the front driving seat and sped off at top speed, leaving the young love birds cuddling between them in the back for a while.
The drive was long and both questioned each other in the back unknown to them that Michael Bauer was listening in silently.
"Did you annoy them pressing that stupid button?" Amanda chuckled to Scott. He laughed in response making light of the situation. "Did I ever" he replied laughing holding on to her hand.
"So I wonder how Casey is?" Amanda asked in her head in thought. "Well she is not dead, but she is trapped" The angels answered into her head. "Well we can see a way out which we are working on, so do not worry" Archangel Ariel answered. "Don't you worry" her Guardian Angels chirped in. Amanda smiled. "no questions, now rest" her guardian Angel added.
"Thanks" she answered smiling with a sigh of relief. She turned to Scott and nuzzled into his chest and gave him a cuddle.
The car come to a halt which looked like a nearby side road. The door opened to Michael Bauer handing a bottle of water to them both. "Drink this, you are thirsty, it will hydrate you" he smiled at them both. "Okay so what do we have to do," Both Scott and Amanda went to step out of the van. Michael put his hands up in defence. "you are not going anywhere, you are to stay put here. You will respond to no one except for under my say" He commanded. The teens sat back down inside. "Say we need the bathroom?" Amanda questioned again. "you won't do.
"You are under Archangel Michael's protection and within reason you are to respect both of us." Michael Bauer commanded. He reached into the van and handed them more food from out of a box under the seat. "Eat and be merry, we will be fine." he added. He handed Scott a walkie talkie, "we will knock three times and will talk to you telepathy if we have too" he looked into their eyes. "You will know what you have to do" Archangel Michael bellowed into both of their minds making Amanda and Scott jump.
"Do you think Dad knows?" Amanda began questioning. " he will know by now that something is not right"
Michael gave a nod to Scott "protect her and protect yourself and over all trust yourself" he closed the door and locked it. Scott made sure that everywhere was on lockdown and he looked out the front to see where he was.
Amanda yawned and stretched and sat into the passenger part with him and was on watch.
An hour had gone and there was silence until voices could be heard "Shshhh, just act normal" Scott spoke to Amanda cautiously "I know that silly" she responded "Kiss me" she said turning to look at him. "Kiss me, that is normal isn't it?" she asked him seriously.
Before the men got to walk past the van, she pulled Scott in and gave him a huge deep kiss which would have put a wow on any angel's face if they seen it happen.
Pulling away he looked stunned. "well that was that, did they go?" she questioned again. Scott just stared at her intently. "you do love me don't you" questioning her back. "Well that's stupid, of course I do" Amanda replied.
Suddenly she heard voices outside the van. "Should we drive?" she questioned Scott?
